From your initial post you don't sound all that much happier to me, lol.

I was taught that I get all the space up to the end of my bumper and everybody else owns the rest. If they touch my car I have the right to get mad, but if they don't, it's not my concern.

That's the point, that even if I didn't work, it wouldn't change my attitude about it.

It is your concern considering they are taking up your *TIME* you could be shopping instead of waiting for their spot or even going home.

I have NEVER cut lines. I am not nuts. I don't leave lines and then expect to get back into a space that's not mine anymore is what I do. If I leave a line, I go in the BACK of the line. That's the morally right thing to do.

No, I usually have a smart young person follow me around and go get stuff when it pops into my head. That's works better for the store if they are not crowded.

So, was your reaction to the weight issue a sign that you may have an eating disorder? That might fit with your overly perfectionistic attitude toward parking issues.

You are right that I do have an eating disorder. I do "diet days" where I eat one or two days a week less than 500 calories so I can eat a lot on the weekends. I also maybe do one day during the week where I eat around 900 calories. This is so I can eat what I want to on the weekend. I have been doing this since I was a teenager. That's why I never got fat. I also never became pregnant either, which helps tremendously.

I don't care about that stuff. Do you realize how many times I have nicked my car on curbs or polls? I suck at parking. I don't care about things that don't matter. I care about if my car gets me from point A to point B, that's it. Scratches and nicks I say to that "WHO GIVES A CARE?" I have a number of scrapes on my car. I don't care, I REALLY, REALLY DON'T HONESTLY!

I have never taken medication for any kind of mental issue since I am not mental. WHY because someone's feelings get hurt that means they are mental, huh?

Now we're getting somewhere!

Young (primarily) women often have eating issues, because they find it is something they can control in a world that often times feels "out of control." Unfortunately, that often leaves them obsessively focused on achieving perfection in other areas of their lives, leaving them frustrated when dealing with things like parking, something that really never has a "perfect" ending.

This is NOT ANYTHING about control. This is COMPLETELY ABOUT that people hurt my feelings when they say mean things. I got made fun of in school as a kid in junior high school called a "nerd", "goodie, goodie", "ugly", made fun of my lip features because I have a big bottom lip", etc. I am very sensitive when people tell me something about the way I look if it's something negative. I can't get over anything that someone says that's mean. It's with me FOREVER and EVER!

What is weird is that now-a-days, woman are getting lip injections, it's like I don't get this? Some of the people that said these things were GUYS, NOT woman, so it wasn't like they were jealous or anything.

Exactly! And when they take your parking spot, you see that as taking from you personally. You view it as a theft of your (very shaky) self worth, that they are criticizing who you really are.

But, I most definitely see it as a control issue and I've dealt with this many, many times.

You would never have passed the Driving test in Britian, so thankful that it is more difficult in UK for the DT, as it keeps a fair amount of Idiots off the road.

NO, because I don't wait for spots, remember that I am the 100% OPPOSITE of these people. It's not about control. It's about that people aren't any more entitled to a spot than I am. I have just as much legal and moral rights as they do to spots.

I don't view it as theft. It's not my spot. Didn't you **READ** my post? I said I say "OH WELL" if they end up getting the spot I was going for. It's not that big of a deal. I don't go confront people like they did to me. It wasn't mine. They got to the spot first(BEFORE I DID).
