Worst cover I think is a tight race between Counting Crows "Paved Paradise" and Amy Grant's "It's Too Late"

Paved Paradise generally has me cringing in agony a bit more though. And yes, I generally like and appreciate the Counting Crows, especially their first album. So this isn't an anti-CC bias or anything.

Strongly disagree with STPs Dancing Days, sounds ridic hollow or something. Most bar band versions of that song sound a little better than theirs.

My pick would have been SVRs Little Wing.

Worst is definitely Counting Crows Paved Paradise, that song makes my ****ing stomach turn.

One random one I got by accident back in college was an acoustic version of The Beatles 'Something' done by someone that is much better than the original.

There is also a punk version of 'Hey, I Think I Love You' that I liked, but I can't remember who performed it.

Haha not sure I'm ready for that.

Worst thing about CC's Paved is it still seems to get played a lot on softrock stations that act as background music in supermarkets etc, Joni Mitchell must be turning in her...oh wait, she's still alive.

Somebody to Love - Jefferson Airplane (although original was The Great Society with Grace Slick and her husband, so the remake was same singer as original, thus probably doesn't qualify...)

I love Sabbath, but 1000 **** DJs did Supernaut different and better, imo.

The cover that tilts me the most is 311's Lovesong. I love the original so much as an epic 80s standard that I have an irrational backlash to it missing that quintessential 80s sound.
