RIP Chester from Linkin Park :( RIP Chester from Linkin Park :(

ec,

IDGAF about people creating extra threads for people they care about, as long as they are reasonably relevant to a broad audience. It's not like OOT is overflowing with new threads to keep up with.

However, just speaking objectively, IMO the line goes something like this when it comes to Linkin Park members:

Mike Shinoda - own thread
Chester - probably in the less famous than George Michael thread
everyone else - definitely in the less famous than George Michael thread

Must have taken those reviews of One More Light to heart.

El D,

Tbh, I'm completely indifferent about the unnecessary thread. Doesn't affect me at all. However, I honestly had no clue at all who this guy was. I guess if you don't listen to that music at all its at least somewhat understandable though.

Indifferent, but has the most posts itt.

I only post to defend myself.

Why is real life better than The Fast and The Furious?

Because Paul Walker dies at the end.

I have got no friends and I also don't have a girlfriend. I never do meet people my own age.

Not enough asterisks.

El D,

I think Mike Shinoba sucks as a rapper/whatever, but is awesome at a lot of other stuff and seems like a nice guy that helps other artists.

So he gets a thread!

I never liked this band. That said, RIP, singer person.

Never really looked into Chester's time with STP, listened to a few songs tonight and look forward to checking out more.

R.I.P. Chester.

I owned the Hybrid Theory CD very soon after it was released, now i'm sure it is a broken piece of plastic somewhere. I discovered Linkin Park as a 16 year old hockey playing kid from a teammate that had the CD before I did. The first track I ever heard was 'In The End', I was hooked. My love for that album only got stronger from there. I went on to be a day one buyer of Meteora and can't count the number of times I listened to it, that count will only grow, love the tone, the sound, the feel of it.

My favorite album is their re-animation album. On youtube there is not currently one single video for the entire album, all single videos. Here is one of my favorites, I'm sure (not really) that you are all smart enough to find the rest if you want to.

Too many threads filling up your precious OOT space?

Go submit your feels in Things that shouldn't piss you off, but do..

This is a good thing. You've clearly joined groups around interesting subjects rather than nobody's on youtube and pictures of food on instagram. Your age will catch up with you soon enough.

Maybe I'm just saying it after the fact, but listening to the lyrics this morning paints a picture:

Why does it feel like night today?
Something in the air's not right today
Why am I so uptight today?
Paranoia's all I got left
I don't know what stressed me first
Or how the pressure was fed
But I know just what it feels like
To have a voice in the back of my head
Like a face that I hold inside
A face that awakes when I close my eyes
A face watches every time I lie
A face that laughs every time I fall
(It watches everything)
So I know now when it's time to sink or swim
That the face inside is hearing me
Right beneath my skin

I find the answers aren't so clear
Wish I could find a way to disappear
All these thoughts they make no sense
I find bliss in ignorance
Nothing seems to go away
Over and over again
Just like before
Everything you say to me
Takes me one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break
I need a little room to breathe
'Cause I'm one step closer to the edge
And I'm about to break

it warrants its own thread. And even if it didn't, it hardly needs you saying so. You simply have to not click it or read it. You're posting purely to douche.

so **** off. Douche.
A lame joke about some dude who dressed like he shopped at hot topic and jmakin gets outraged? Lol..

ec, i like you in general b/c you're a fellow UNC fan. but son, you've been way out of line itt.

Extremely selfish for this guy to kill himself given he has 6 kids with the youngest being 5 year old twin girls. Now the burden lays on people around them to raise them and eventually explain what their father did.

Once again extremely selfish.
07-21-2017 , 12:58 PM
I look forward to his posts in all the threads either validating or expressing his disapproval.

Some exceptions should be made, imo.

Now let's not act like I've said anything negative or disrespectful about the deceased. I agree that would've been out of line.
