Just bought an LG G3.

Cons:
It's not an iPhone, so how will people know how much better I am than everyone else?

Pros:
The entire screen isn't shattered.

Lezyne HP Drive Bicycle Pump

Recently bought a hybrid bike, and wanted a small portable pump to use if I ever got a flat.

Went with this one because it has a small hose that pulls out of it which makes it really easy to access the valve on a tire instead of the other stupid pumps.

Haven't had to use it on my bike yet, but rescued a kid who had a flat and it worked great. Only downside is that it's a little slippery to grip.

Would definitely recommend over the other portable options.

I've heard nothing but great things from people who bought that tablet tho.
Having to actually buy the keyboard (especially at that price) is a major turnoff for a lot of people, I think. But really you've got to have it. I just kinda calculated the cost into the overall purchase and moved on. Being able to run almost any program I want without being confined to android or apple is such a huge plus, along with portability, that it's worth the price.

I've read that previous Surface models were a bit clunky and unrefined. This thing is fairly well polished out of the box and very versatile. But yeah, they do try to kill you with the addons -- like the $200 docking port they've got coming out next month. Supposedly all you have to do is slide your SP3 in and it turns it into a desktop, basically, with extra ports and whatnot. But damned if it ain't expensive.

I am in awe that you can instantly find a part for a 13 year old car and a video specifically covering that said obscure part. I think this internet thing is going to be huge once the word gets out.
I want to join in the praise youtube for car maintenance and repair party. After having a salesman lie to my face when I took my car in this week, it's incredibly satisfying to be able to tell him to get screwed, buy the parts yourself, and have step by step video instruction available on demand.

I just bought a Sabretts hot dog. I opted for the spicy mustard add on. It was delicious and I will definitely be buying another one soon. Much better than the Nathans hot dog which I sometimes get.

I'm about a year outside the claims window, so they refuse to do the five minute, five dollar fix that it needs. I have to decide if I want to find a soldering iron and supplies, order the capacitors or whatever that it needs, and then replace it myself.

There are a lot of youtube videos about this issue complete with fix instructions. Wouldn't mind saving a few hundred on repairs or a thousand to replace it. But I know **** all about soldering. Missed that day at electronics school. x.x
Don't know what the quality is like in those videos but check out the iFixit site or app, has tons of fixes for all kinds of devices with step by step pictures & videos.

That's funny. We opted to try a second cortisone shot, and it worked. But now you guys got me thinking if it flares back up....

Oh, these are some good wire strippers. Very comfortable. Go up to #8 wire, while most similar strippers only go up to #10. Spring is great and doesn't fall off.

I got Droid owners as substantially worse in terms of phone related snobbery. Your mom probably has an iphone, there's simply no more validity to this imagined pretentions elite class of iphone users.

Just picked up a Samsung Galaxy Tab S for $399 + tax from BB. (8.4 inch tablet) Charging right meow and will report back after I've used it for a while but the specs are pretty amazing at that price point imo.

Bought a Kinivo BTC450 off amazon. Bluetooth car stereo adapter - on sale for $39.99 with free shipping for prime. Pairs very easily and the sound quality from my iPhone is very good. Uses car lighter for power and RCA Jack.

Definitely recommend. Will play whatever sound is coming from your device...music, videos, youtube, etc. with sound then coming through your car stereo speakers.

Bought my girlfriend the cheaper model galaxy tab 8.0 for her birthday a few weeks ago. It's great for what it is. 16 gb memory. Screen looks great. Can do all the standard droid apps that she has on her phone. It's not the fastest thing in the world but it's great for what she is using it for... And that is surfing the internet and watching netflix and stuff. Great value for the price. The battery on it is outstanding.

I highly recommend it if you don't wanna spend money for an iPad mini or whatever.

That's the one I was originally going to get, but after thinking about it longer I decided it was worth it for me (personally) to pony up and get the newer/better model. But I completely agree that the 8.0 is more than sufficient for 99% of the population. This is my first tablet and I wanted to get something that was on the cutting edge even if I don't truly need to specs. (which are just ridiculous on this tablet and after using it for a full day I'm extremely impressed. Hasn't lagged once and the screen is flat out amazing to look at. (SUPER AMOLED 2500x1600)

I'll be writing up a full review in the Android thread at some point and may cross post it here as well. Cheers.

Of course we all tend to "justify" our purchases and ofc I'll say I like it...but something to keep in mind is that I probably return things more than anyone I've ever met. Before I settled on a gaming headset I bought and returned 5 other pairs. It was a huge hassle to unpack each one, set it up, try it out, box it back up, go back to the store, etc, etc, but when I spend any decent amount of money I'm going to make sure I get the most out of it. I basically look for reasons to return things I buy lol.

I did take back the cover I bought at first for this tablet. The second one I bought is much, much better. (will give specifics once I put up a review in the Android thread)

My 2014 did not come with a lighter, but it did come with an outlet tucked away under the dash on the passenger side. Conveniently out of sight if you don't use it, but not the most convenient place to have a wire running from IMO.

Really liking these glasses. They are light weight and I really like the semi-rimless design. Make me look much more sophisticated than I really am.

Those look pretty nice. I'd like to see a pair just like those except with a little bit thinner side arm thingys...(stems?).

edit: Although the stems don't look as thick after looking closer. Do you have a link?
