A little old, but still a classic. Kodak is amazing. His delivery makes people downplay his writing. Some of it is amazing. Here's some more recent stuff from Kodak that I can't stop listening to.

yo, hiphop massive. i am doing boxing for 1 year now. in the beginning, there was a dj premier mix, a best-of notorious big mix and a billy talent cd. best-of big cd used to skip. so i brought a bit of music to the training (ready to die [without the lil kim skit], tribe best-of mixtape, best-of 2 chainz and some loosly mixed tunes). now more music is needed.

so, hiphop massive: please name 1(!) song that you consider "good" for box-training/working out. i will probably put those songs together for our training.

you can mention "mama said knock you out", but its not necessary.

Was going to bump for it, I think it's pretty terrible. At least we have new N.E.R.D and it's amazing. Heard Lemon day it came out and even now I still think it's ****ing bonkers

Yeah Vince Staples and Brockhampton are the only artists newer than Kendrick I **** with I think. Might be missing some obvious ones. Getting to be that age I guess.

Was pleasantly surprised to hear some stuff from Saturation II on the government run youth station here (Australia). Each year they run the Hottest 100 - a countdown of the best 100 songs of the year voted on by the public that's generally regarded as the largest of its kind in the world (2.4 million votes this year) and Brockhampton came in at #11 with Sweet, which was awesome to see. Humble got #1, so for a list usually dominated by indie rock was pretty significant (and also getting a ton of hate on Facebook)
