Can someone recommend a couple good radiolab podcasts to start out with? Preferably something light because I'll be palying the pokers.

I mostly listen to nerdist podcast and used to like wtf but Marin is annoying. Comedy bang bang is pretty good. Recommend me something, please!

You might try 'You Made it Weird" with Pete Holmes.
Its a pretty similar format to 'WTF', just with a happy person running the show instead of a sad one.

If you want current comedy, Hollywood Babble On with Ralph Garman and Kevin Smith is a must. Lots of cursing, so keep away from kids and keep volume low at work.

Oh, edit, Carlin. Ghosts of the Ostfront. Much better than the ww1 stuff he's currently doing imo. Guy hasn't released anything new in a while.

I'd listen to this occasionally on the radio but never thought of looking for it as a podcast until now. Now I'm plowing through all ~700 episodes...

In Our Time - It's a ~45min show by BBC Radio 4 that's been going since 1998 where the host, Melvyn Bragg, and a panel of experts discuss a certain topic.

You can search the shows broadly by culture, history, religion, science or philosophy, or by a ton of different eras. I'd really recommend it for anyone who has an interest in general knowledge. Here's a wikipedia list of all the show - List of In Our Time programmes

Didn't know he did a podcast. This documentary on him is pretty interesting. He definitely comes across as super motivated, and a genuinely good guy, not just an egotistical prick (like his gaming videos would have you believe).
