In case it's not clear with the No Trolling and no YSSCKY rules, wishing death upon another poster, telling them to kill themselves, die in a grease fire, or any such variant are also extremely frowned upon and will result in infractions/bans.

If your thread was deleted, it probably violated rules in this sticky. We are not going to explain to every user starting a crap thread why it was deleted. It's expected that you will read and understand the rules prior to posting.

Don't use or make a gimmick account for some lame mundane question or the OOT mods have the right to out you or ban you or worse trainwreck you.
If you have some legit reason to use one cause you just were banging your friends dad and he reads the board fine. But if you just post about some lame ****ing job at the local stop and shop where you caught your boss not washing his hands after taking a piss well **** you thats what.

People reading OOT should not find out that Bob The Ice Cream Molester got killed in the season finale of "Cold Feelings" when reading anything other than the "Cold Feelings Season 18 Thread". Obviously at some point things become common knowledge and Bruce Willis is dead and Rosebed is a sled- but for more recent stuff please respect other posters and keep that kind of spoilery information where it belongs.

No politarding- which means that if you hijack a thread (say a trip report) to make some political point clearly unrelated to this thread, you're getting banned. There's a politics forum, it's actually not that bad- go use it.
