No excuse because he is larger than most 12 year olds and a 12 year old should damn well know better

If you decide to ration out the candy, don't hide it in the oven.

The look on his face in the 1st pic is like he's saying "I'm eating the whole thing and I dare you to try and stop me."

When 3 AM rolled around, I suggested we take an Uber home to avoid drunk driving (#responsibility/#MADD). I live 22 minutes , tops, from the party I was leaving.

When I awoke this morning, I heard a friend talking about how outrageous Uber rates were the night before (9x original rate).
No one bothered to chip in? GFM better nip this in the bud or this is all we'll see.

Thanks for the ride, Muhammed.
Nice.

Edit: $220 Anon. donation seems pretty strange.

J,

That of course is a good point. But wrt Uber specifically, they pop up a message telling you prices are surging, ask you to confirm that you want to accept the higher price or wait to be notified when prices have gone down, THEN have you actually type the surge amount as a confirmation of understanding and acceptance.

But of course she's an entitled cute chick, so she should be able to do whatever she wants and have other people pay for it later.

Haha, yea, i forgot about that. I'd chalk that up to "lol millennials" rather than lolwomen though. Also wtf 450 rent in SF? And isn't the min wage like 15/hr there?

I an actually going to be driving uber in a month or so, hope i don't have to deal with ****s like that. Customer service has never been a strong point of mine.

J,

That was in Baltimore.

Google seems to think that most Uber drivers make less than minimum wage.

J''s Uber reviews

"Driver screamed code brown then pulled over into a gas station."
11-02-2014 , 02:36 PM
Lol. It'll be an interesting experiment for sure. Can you be fired? Haven't been able to find an answer on that one.
11-02-2014 , 02:47 PM
J,

Very easy to get fired from Uber. It happens for a bunch of reasons, some are:

1) low ratings from customers
2) complaints from customers
3) not accepting enough rides
4) canceling accepted rides

You have to maintain a rating in the high 4's to stay an Uber driver.
11-02-2014 , 02:49 PM
well, it'll probably be a short experiment then

still though, that story makes me rage hard. next time i drunkenly blow a grand in vegas i'm gonna start a kickstarter to recoup my losses.

I think about my poor homies who aren't allowed to have a beer sometimes, like when I'm walking down Mission Street smoking a joint.

ha people drink in those counties. There are still bars, you just have to drive 5 minutes further to buy alcohol. It can be annoying though.

The worst part about that uber thing is how every other word in her instagram post is hashtagged.
11-02-2014 , 07:08 PM
I'm so lazy that if drinking means having to walk farther than my fridge I just won't do it.

today's discussion made me go and finish my uber app finally, just getting a vehicle inspection this week and im good to go. apparently i passed the background check.

i'm thinking there must be a huge element of suck to this or everyone would be doing it.

Jmakin,

A lot of people seem to be netting like $6/hr.
