I think it's a staged picture. Something about it just doesn't seem real. She has such innocent eyes. The picture is disturbing yet aesthetically pleasing at the same time. It's very intriguing to me.

This thread has been derailed from its original purpose, though occasionally some of the newer pics hold true to the original intent.

Neverthless, even the pics that don't belong (and there are a lot) are pretty cool.

This poses a question in me head. Why does it take longer to drown a fish then it does an air breather? Those things seem to last 10s of minutes where as air breathers last on average much less then 3 mins.

I have a pretty strong will for pictures like these, but the loyal dog pictures are just way too heartbreaking to me for some reason.

is near impossible for me to look at for more than a second or two

You guys are frigging insane. I can't understand the multiple posts claiming this is the best photo in the history of humanity. Its a homeless guy begging for money holding a dog. Big Whoop.

In big cities, homeless people often use dogs like this as a means to get more donations. Notice his hat...
