Why anyone pays for radio is beyond me.

I do it because I'm lazy and unadventurous. I travel a ton for work and like to listen to the same stations wherever I go and hate having to search and program in new stations when I'm in a new city for a few weeks/months.

I pay for it because Anthony is a comedic genius and has made me laugh more than any other human being.

His only tweets now are a picture of him with recent houseguest Bailey Jay and another of him drunk with his black friend with a **** eating smirk on his face.

That's hilarious.

What in the holy hell are you talking about?

Now I'm totally rooting for her to be a borderline schitzo street trick.

It doesn't matter what she is or what she did to him.

There's usually an easy way to spot racists and it's when they try to falsely equate two things to hand wave away racist behavior of others.

Not that it was much of a stretch, but leave it to Bobo to spill the beans about their future plans to a fake chick's account on Twitter:

This post is either too smug and cute for me to care or too sarcastic for me to understand.

Nah- there's other reasons.

Shocking that the guy who was so amused by Donald Sterling is showing up to defend another racist.

Sometimes you have to consider that everyone involved is a piece of ****.

But that would interfere with the smug satisfaction of pointing your finger at that bad man and feeling all warm inside.

Feel free to show where I've defended him. I'm here to enjoy the circus and LOL at you modern day church ladies.

I jumped on this story late, and I'm having a hard time finding the relevant tweets. Anyone provide a link? It's hard for me to silently judge you guys without knowing what was said.

the tweets were racist enough that you can't help but wonder if it was done on purpose to get out of a contract or if maybe the author has suffered some kind of brain injury.

So then this is just the case of some unbalanced woman assaulting a man on the street, and said man throwing a krameresque tirade via twitter which cost him his job?

I've always found it interesting that people's inclination is to take sides, even when everyone involved is wrong. You shouldn't assault people, nor should you rant on twitter when you stand to lose your job.

Either way, he should just get a podcast like everyone else.

He has tweeted stuff just as bad in the past. I'd be willing to wager that most of these episodes were alcohol-induced.

He'd never gotten in trouble before for his racism on twitter, so I'm sure the backlash over his latest racist tweets came as a big surprise to him.

Well, it was either an unbalanced woman or he was being an ******* and deserved to get slapped around. Which of those two scenarios do you think is more likely?

In the deleted tweets he says he "dropped N bombs" on her so yea, not too hard to figure out.

Since I wasn't there, I can't know, but if what I read is true and she repeatedly hit him, she probably isn't that balanced, and he probably did something which provoked her, taking her picture or whatever. Most adults don't resort to violence as a rule of thumb, unless it is necessary.

Oh really? I thought it was the b word. Well that makes it more interesting.

He does claim it was only after she hit him, but he also says he started off with the c word.

"When asked if he notified law enforcement, Cumia wrote, “Please! It's a non issue to LE. After the 10th punch a dropped N bombs on her. That's it” The typos are his, so the meaning of this statement isn't entirely clear."

Wonder what the story would be here if he just punched her in the face and never said anything racist because that's pretty much the play there.

That seems like a very poor play considering he claims 5 dudes came to her defense just over words.

Which also leads credence to the theory that he was acting like an ******* and deserved to get slapped around.

The bold is patently untrue, and this whole line of "zOMG violence!" crap from Cumia and his white knights is transparent nonsense.

He was acting like an ass, he got slapped around for it, and then he whined about it on twitter using blatantly racist terms because he had a sad that he couldn't get away with acting like an ass for a change. That's the whole story.

I'm sure the incident could have easily been defused.

Woman: what the **** are you doing taking my picture?
Ant: no I didn't mean to get you in the pic, I was taking pics all night on my phone, here take a look.
Woman: oh wow, these are some great photos, what are you some kind of photographer?
Ant: :blushing: no, I actually work in the radio industry. You might have heard my show on Sirius.
Woman: no I haven't, but I'll be sure to check you out, have a nice night

I'm not sure why you have decided to take a side, but I think you're not being objective here. The truth always lies somewhere in the middle of both stories.

From what I have read, he attempted to take her picture and continued to do so despite her protests which led to her hitting him, and general unpleasantries were shared by both parties. Did he just try to take a picture and nothing more? Probably not, I'm sure he at least scoffed at her protests, and possibly insulted her. Does that give her the right to assault him? I would say no, as would the law, but I understand her frustration. Reminds me of the Surveillance Camera Man, which I wholeheartedly disagree with.

As far as I can tell, both parties were wrong here, he shouldn't have messed with her and ranted about it, and she most definitely shouldn't have hit him. As far as justifying the negative behaviours, I can't understand the logic behind it.

Anthony is actually notoriously nonconfrontational in real life. It's a running joke on the show. Since the 90s.

He's always played good cop on the show. Opie is the evil one in person.
