I caught them in the middle of a bit the other day, not sure if it was a repeat or not. They were saying stuff like "If your town (insert something about it being an oldie town)..." then they'd make some sort of ridiculous noise like "ACK!". It was sort of like the "You might be a redneck" bit.

I don't even know what they were making fun of but I was was laughing pretty hard. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

By the way Chip Chipperson still makes me laugh EVERY time he makes a joke. And the Rosie **** at the end of today's show was some of the best stuff they've done in a while. Sometimes Anthony will make a joke that doesn't make me laugh so much at first, but once I hear Jimmy start laughing uncontrollably it makes me laugh too. Guess I'm a sheep.

Yeah, the unintelligble noise somehow evolved out of "you're in Mancow country" (Mancow is another talk radio person who I believe bashed them on fox news once).

Dave is still really good on Special Delivery.

I like this clip just because they had a really boring guest interview and Dave made it hilarious.

Oh, Chip.

I like how when Jimmy's on the road and refuses to break character, Club Soda Kenny calls him by his given name (Lyle)...it just seems like such a CSK thing to do.

Sick bump.

I'm still listening. From the damage the listeners are doing to the Jocktober victims' FB pages I'd say they still have a decent fan base.

Any word on re-upping their contract? I assume with Hoo-hoo doing like five shows a month these days, SiriusXM would want to make sure they kept O&A around as some kind of reliable draw.

Yes, they signed. Believe it or not it was Opie holding it up. WTF would he do if he did not have the Ant and the show?

Yeah, I assume Op doesn't need the money, and may not give a **** about staying in radio since he's been doing it for like 25+ years already.

It would be an interesting experiment if they decided to continue the show without him...sometimes when he's not there I'll tune in and not even notice his absence for an hour, but it does turn into a weird ramble-fest when Ant and Jimmy are alone for too long. The show definitely needs him to kind of steer the ship.

Hmm, maybe if Opie and Fez both walk into the sunset with their next contracts, we can have the Ron & Anthony show...

Op may have been a DJ for 25 years, but only got paid when he met Anth and they have made the same exact money for the most part of their partnership. Now Anth does spend a bit (perhaps a bit more) then Opie. That being said, Opie has a family to think about and wants to earn while he still can. The fact that Opie is very low on the talent end of the partnership makes it laughable to me he was the last to sign.

Amazing thank you. I have an XM subscription (actually I cancelled 6 months ago but they never turned my radio off) but I'm only in the car for 30 min every day. Now I can easily load the whole show on my phone and listen to it on a bluetooth during the day

I ran a 35 player tournament in Anthony's basement a couple Fridays ago.

We had six re-buys, so $4100 in the prize pool paying five. At ten the hand that I got ****ed on was A/10. We are playing five handed as the final table was eight (Anth's nice table seats 8). Under the gun I lead out 18,000 (blinds 3/6K). The small blind, who has me covered calls, and the big blind goes all in for 20K. I call, small blind calls. I only have 19K left. The flop is crap, turn is nothing, and river another brick. We had checked it down, and I was not expecting any action when on the river small blind min bets 6K. Really? Why? I figure he hit a pair on the river (why would you bet with a guy all in and only 2 to the final table though?) and after a little tanking, I fold. Dip **** shows K/Q for King high. Tard! All in shows A/10. I would have chopped and got over 30K. Instead, I sit with just over 3 BB's. ****ing idiot. Anywho, I make it to final 7, only 2 to money, and get A/Q of dimes. All in. Cigars @ Scotch calls with A/A. Hit a Q on flop, but nothing else.

When they got to 5, they chopped. But Fred from Brooklyn took 25% as he was monster stacked and other four chopped 75%. Tourney was a HUGE success, and Anth, Joe, and I already have talked about doing another one.
