I'm a total lurker but I had to weigh in here because this (and the original oreo prop bet thread) is awesome. I want no part of this because I am 6'0, 145 and barely eat (and am an acknowledged sissy), but my brother, who's about 6'1 190 gave this a shot tonight. He only made it through 35 before saying that he just couldn't eat anymore because of how gross they were starting to taste. He definitely could have put more away without puking, but he was pretty positive that even if he sucked up the gross taste and forced himself to keep eating he wouldn't have been able to make it through the full 100. The lesson: Take time to cleanse the palate?

I learned that if you drink half a bottle of port, it turns sort of a forest/spinach green. This was independently verified by at least one other (checking on a third now).

Lucky Charms will also turn your poo green. I think I ate 2 boxes over 3 days to get to that point though.

I dont get people like quadstriker and Eld who only bought two bags of oreos. I mean, someone is gonna put up a big number, and even if you have the feeling now like you only want to eat until you get sick if you end up getting close to or passing 100 you need to go for it all. I mean how can you expect to win let alone compete with the kind of attitude that goes out there and only buys two bags. Just shameful.

Picked up two bags of Oreos earlier today.

It has been years since I've had Oreos and they looked really delicious, so I finally opened up a pack a few minutes ago planning to eat 2 (leaving me with 100 for Monday). Ended up eating 10 without even thinking. And I could definitely go for some more right now. I think I'm going to blow past my initial estimate of 20 and will likely eat 30-35 Oreos. In fact, I think I'm gonna go have a few more right now.

Oreos were $4.19/pack. Right next to them the Safeway Tuxedos were a great bargain at 2 for $4!!!

Is there any way this can spread worldwide? - Imagine a run on Oreos after it makes national news that everyone will eat as many oreos at one particular time. They do it with those silly toasts at bars so why not? Anyone know a news anchor? BTW - I'm just watching as I don't particularly like them - good luck all.
