I found it in the bakery section of a Walmart on Thanksgiving Day when I slipped in to pick up a couple of last minute items before heading to the dreaded in-laws.

Unfortunately on a cut right now so I was just trying to eat 20 as fast as possible. Not an impressive time because they were lava hot and I was dumb to not wait.

I could have eaten 60 no problem, beyond that no idea. I might try in July when I'm in USA#1 and bump this thread.

Pretty big disappointment that heavy hitters Goose and Malucci didn't celebrate.

The trick is, always leave them wanting more.

I read this thread and celebrated every moment and accomplishment with you all with grease tears in my eyes.

Malucci is making great progress in losing weight. I always check in on his HaF thread. But he's still having fun out there in the process.

Twix seem pretty terrible. If you're going to go with some kind of chocolate item, I'd stay away from milk "chocolate" if possible. Or at least make it Kit Kats. The heaviness of the caramel in Twix would severely limit the total consumption numbers.

Basic ice cream sandwiches sound good but there will be tons of brand variance so the sizing equivalents will get difficult. Best of the three, tho.

Little Debbie snack cakes should be a pretty serious contender. They are like the mcnuggets of dessert foods. Super unhealthy, very tasty, pretty gross if you eat too many. Most people should be able to make it into at least the second box. I'd say make it a choose-your-own Little Debbie faceoff. Zebra Cakes one time!

Single serving mini ice creams would also be pretty sick, and allow for some good variety strategies.


Buffet day would be epic. Think of all the photos of various plates full of food. Now that's a celebration.

I'd like to see Little Debbie's Oatmeal Creme Pies - they're like crack to me. Also think they're less likely to lead to sweet overload, compared to Twinkies or even Zebra Cakes.

not really sure why i'm ok eating a week's worth of sodium in one sitting but binging on sugary stuff seems really bad to me. i'll likely be a Snacker for the dessert celebration.

definitely in for the buffet leg. should be a prize for most mountainous plate, especially if it comes with pictures of disgusted and appalled fellow buffet patrons.

It's a buffet. I'd be willing to bet that there will be at least one person there with a bigger plate that is just part of their weekly routine.

mini powdered donuts would be interesting and would be accessible to everyone. Strategy on optimal drink would be key.

Just want to say this thread made me order whataburger nuggets for the first time. I highly enjoyed the experience and will do again. Especially enjoyed their gravy as a dipping sauce.

Whataburger has great gravy but it's overpriced. One biscuit and gravy is 2 bucks, argh. Maybe that's just how it is now and I should get used to it.
