I've never seen anything like this. Normally it's wait in the normal line. If you see someone by themselves, you skip ahead a little. If not, you go off by yourself when the time comes.
I don't know why anyone would ever wait 90 minutes in line extra just to ride with someone. Even if I went with someone, I would go to this line, and ride it by myself, and have whoever came with me ride it on their own next.
How does a single seat ever get open in this case? Since all the people in the main line aren't singles?
I'm not doubting this doesn't exist, just never seen it at any of the parks I've been to (somewhat small sample of King's Island, Cedar Point, and a few Six Flags parks).
