I guessed a #, probably somewhere between 12-18. But the salt thing is a real issue. And I use a bottle normally.

Perhaps you should work on going faster in the left lane before you worry about spitting seed shells.

Is it a separate line that goes right next to it?

I've never seen anything like this. Normally it's wait in the normal line. If you see someone by themselves, you skip ahead a little. If not, you go off by yourself when the time comes.

I don't know why anyone would ever wait 90 minutes in line extra just to ride with someone. Even if I went with someone, I would go to this line, and ride it by myself, and have whoever came with me ride it on their own next.

How does a single seat ever get open in this case? Since all the people in the main line aren't singles?

I'm not doubting this doesn't exist, just never seen it at any of the parks I've been to (somewhat small sample of King's Island, Cedar Point, and a few Six Flags parks).

Its a seperate line.

Disney and Universal basically have 3 lines for all rides.

The line
The Expresspass / Fastpass line (you can pay extra to skip the regular line and only wait 10 or so minutes)
The Single riders line

I have no clue why anyone would do anything other than the single riders line, unless they all really want a group photo on the ride or something?

Odd numbered groups in the main line. Most of the places I see the single rider line have it near the end of the line. You have to wait in the main line until you get near the end and then you can branch off. You're still saving a lot of time though because the single rider line usually starts when the main line gets dense with turns.

The only reason I can think of is if you are a family. Disney and Universal are more likely to be family parks, so I can see that happening there more often.

If you want extra leg room on your next flight, call reservations and ask to be assigned a bulkhead seat. This is the seat right behind first class and on many airplane models has more leg room and you don't have to worry about someone reclining their seat all the way back into your face. The airline usually doesn't assign these seats voluntarily in advance unless you are a frequent flyer "elite" member or have a medical need. Tell them you have a fused leg. You will not have to provide any evidence this is true. You can also leverage your new found ailment into boarding early because you are a passenger with special needs. Throw in a gimpy walk for dramatic effect if you want. You get more leg room, first to board so you have room to store your carry on, first to get beverage service, and you will be one of the first off the plane when you land. You'll only feel guilty until the smug sense of accomplishment kicks in.

Yeah, too bad I learned it after giving my 2 weeks notice at the clothing store I was working at. And there's no way I'm doing that for my own stuff.

The exit rows also usually have tons of leg room.

RE: sunflower seeds

I have no idea if this is legit, but I heard it somewhere. Eating the sunflower seeds while driving keeps your 'system going'. Your digestive system stays 'awake' in a sense, because you're constantly salivating, chewing, spitting, swallowing, tasting, etc. And having your digestive system churning and active keeps the rest of you awake (without weighing you down or making you sleepy, because you aren't actually eating much).

Again, no idea if this is legit, but it makes sense to me.

I fell asleep driving once and I wasn't eating sunflower seeds.

Confirmed.

The only problem with the front row seats is that they usually put the tray table in the arm rests which make the width of the seats smaller, annoying some "wider" folks like myself.

Drycleaning. Find one that does $1.99 per item and $1.29 per shirt. Extra starch on shirts. Also Kirkland dress shirts if you like button down collar are the best for the money available

Brooks Brothers non-iron are clearly the best IMO. No drycleaning necessary and always look crisp.

Nordstrom's Smartcare shirts are in the 50 range compared to BB's 75 and look pretty good right out of the dryer.

i haven't worn a BB shirt before so i can't directly compare but i do have one of the nordstrom shirts and yes they do look very nice. the fabric and stitching is much nicer than any of the other dress shirts i own (generally mainstream brands like geoffrey beene, van heusen, calvin klein, etc, so nothing fancy) and cost only ~$10 more. will definitely be looking at the nordstrom shirts first next time i go shopping.

I've only seen Pearl Jam once in my life in Lawrence, KS in 1992 I think. First time I did ecstasy. Good show but I was more interested in cuddling and walking around for the feel of the warm pavement on my bare feet.

Here's a life tip that's actually good: Don't get anything dry cleaned more than once a year. It is terrible for fabrics.

I also haven't seen any theme parks with a single riders line, although I've only been to six flags and busch gardens recently and they don't have them.

Single seats are open all the time on rides that have 4 seats in each row. Many times you'll have a group of 3-4 friends that want to ride together. In which case if a group of 2 or 3 just entered the ride before you, they'll wait until the next car instead of just filling those empty seats. Stupid, I know, but that's what people do.
