Just posted this in Fast Food thread but order chicken wings plain with your preferred sauces (or three) on the side. Wings stay more crispy and you get your optimal heat level/flavors on sauces by dipping around.

Once you do it, you won't go back trust me

If you ever have a link someone posts that you want to go to, highlight it and go Ctrl-C-T-V, which will copy, open a tab, and paste address into box.

Probably easier ways to do it nowadays, but also a good trick.

The trick I think I learned from 27, that improved my writing a lot: right clicking on the mouse on red underlined word gives you suggestions. It works not only here, but also with emails.

If you don’t use the Cortana search in windows 10 it takes up a lot of real estate on the taskbar, you can right click the taskbar, goto Cortana and choose hidden.

You’ll lose no functionality since you can just click start or hit the start button on the keyboard and it will do the same search by just typing. Same number of clicks too since you’d have to at least click that part of the task bar in the default mode.

I also removed the people icon in the system tray since the fall update, never plan to use that

When calling an Uber at a location that has multiple sides on different streets, just order it for a house/store/etc. next to it so the driver doesn't go to the wrong side & no-show you. Also, always put the exact address in - just using the location pin is hardly ever precise

Not sure if these qualify as tricks, but I use some of these little efficiencies whenever I can:

-With a standard AC plug, I always put it on the top female receptacle. This leaves the bottom receptacle available for larger plugs in the future. Same for power strips. I'd imagine most have already figured that out.

-When it's just me getting out of my vehicle, I lock the door with the lock button to preserve FOB battery life. However, my car is old and the FOB battery has never been changed.

-I own a complete mirrored toiletry set for travel that never leaves my suitcase. Super easy to pack for a trip.
