Re: OOT Life Tricks
I was reluctant to post any PC tips and do feel some of them aren't exactly what people are expecting.
Here's a pretty solid one.
Buy microfiber cloths. Do not under any circumstance get them from wal-mart. Autozone has good ones fairly cheap, and I've heard Sams Club does, too. I want to say I spent $10 on a 6 pack.
Anyways, the two best applications I've found for these besides cleaning a vehicle are cleaning mirrors and cleaning monitors.
To clean a monitor, get one of them wet, they don't really absorb much water, but that's fine.
Rub it all over your window.
now take a dry one, and rub it all over your window.
Any streaks behind, simply take a dry one, and rub it over that spot. I have a pretty big mirror in my bathroom and it takes like five days for it to get covered in ****(i eat a lot of fiber) and I just keep two of these in there, it's definitely under a minute to clean the entire thing.
No streaks, lint, nothing. It's just so ****ing easy.
To do your monitors do the exact same thing. Easiest solution ever. **** you Windex.

Re: OOT Life Tricks
for a cheaper method, use a normal cloth with water/soap? and wipe down with crumbled piece of newspaper.

pro tip: stop trying to hit the bowl from 10 feet off, and actually sit on the toilet seat.

**** yeah, microfiber cloths +1 million. i use one to clean my ipod screen. i'm still amazed at how clean it gets. it will wipe away quite easily streaks, smudges, etc that regular cloths just brush right over.

You can also hit Alt+F4 to close an app quickly, and ctrl V to paste
CTRL + D will minimize everything. Man discovering that when I was 14 = clutch
As far as the browser zoom goes, yes, it's very useful, especially as you use larger monitors. You can even set it to zoom just text. In firefox you just go in view-> Zoom.
To do it In IE you simply navigate to www.firefox.com install that quickly add on and then go from there.

for clarification is Windows Key + D = "show desktop" which minimizes everything. CTRL+D doesn't do much and is program dependent. Shows your time bank balance in FTP though.
