That picture looked like something that reminded me of a dish I love. I google image search and it is this picture.

This is not just fries with brown gravy. This is in fact what is called a hot hamburger. It is served at a hole in the wall place called Murphy's Steak House in Bartlesville, Okla. (about an hour north of Tulsa).

This is two pieces of Texas toast (which you can see creeping out of the bottom), a hamburger patty with cheese as an option, fries piled over that, and brown gravy that resembles axle grease. It is incredible and I have taken 3-hour trips just for this meal numerous times. One of my favorite meals, even though it probably has about a week's worth of calories.

The only thing better is having them with chicken gravy. Oh yeah and fresh squeaky curds.

I'm a little surprised this wasn't a post by Dog Boy.

I was not suggesting a variable annuities. With a Fixed Indexed Annuity there is no wrapper markup and no underlying fees.

Unlike the 401k plan you supervise, owners of fixed indexed annuities lost no money in the market when it tanked last year.

Obviously, you're opinion about this is uninformed and ignorant. Just because the wires like to wrap fia's doesn't mean they are all sold that way.
If there are no fees how does the plan supervisor make money?

Whenever girls say it's unfair that if a guy screws a different girl every week, he's a legend, but if a girl screws just two guys in a year, she's a slut..... Tell her this:

If a key opens lots of locks, then it's a master key. But if a lock is opened by lots of keys, then it's a ****ty lock.

Commissions are stellar on annuities.

Mostly grunching but if you're cooking a frozen pizza, open the box out flat and eat the pizza off it. Saves washing a plate.

Definitely works at Best Buy. Talk to the sales person, who will probably need to get an OK from the manager. I had them match an Amazon sale on a navigator which was a pretty significant discount. I've found that places are getting more resistant to matching online prices recently though.

Unrelated tip: Hair spray will remove ink from clothing. Learned this in high school when I wore whites and worked in a nursing home.

Haven't had ramen in a while, but when I did, adding an egg makes it 10x better.

Here's another tip about ramen: After eating the noodles throw away the soup, a large percent of the sodium is in it. The "soup" is akin to leftover ketchup from fries, you don't lick it from the plate, do you?

Egg in Ramen sucks, imo. Adding anything to ramen is really a negative, except beef or pork, which is a given.

Which is interesting because you can get it cheaper on Amazon and free shipping. Theyre just going to lose business if they cant match the prices.

I can understand not matching all sorts of online sites but Amazon should be someone theyre willing to match.

If you have digital cable and want to watch a 1-time event on a channel that you don't have, for instance boxing/MMA on HBO or Showtime, call them up the day of the event and order the channel. Then, the next day cancel it. They pro-rate the subscription by the day so it will wind up costing you <50 cents.

BONUS: Get the On-Demand feature as well, then when your fight is over watch everything on that channel that interests you over the next day or two before cancelling. BTW this works great with a series like Dexter or Weeds as well. Wait for the season to end, order that channel on demand and watch the whole season in a couple of days (the way it was meant to be viewed anyway). Then right before you cancel and pay your pittance you can On-Demand some "Adults Only" content and get a nice spank session in for good measure.

DISCLAIMER: This will NOT work with satellite cable/DirectTV. AFAIK they have a minimum subscription time of 1 month. This DEFINITELY works for IO-Cablevision here in NY, not sure about other companies.

On the subject of salt and french fries the following is a great salt substitute;

Uh, broth is not like leftover ketchup. What a horrible analogy.

If you find yourself in a conversation about a topic you know little about, but still want to sound smart, just say, "You know what though? I've found that the more I learn about fixed index annuities, the more I realize that I know nothing about fixed index annuities." It works for any topic. You will still sound smart and humble and it usually ends the discussion.
