after that i'm pretty indifferent between IBC, stewarts, and sprecher. and then i'd go with A&W from A&W.

root beer is the best

Sprecher's is from WI. It's not in every store but you can find it all over the place. Still the best all-time imo. Think I saw Hansen's mentioned itt, but not Blue Sky...pretty solid.

Glad to see MUG getting the hate it deserves. I think Barq's is pretty decent, and maybe my favorite for floats. Combines well with the ice cream.

I always viewed IBC as the cheap quality root beer. Henry Weinhard's and Thomas Kemper as the premium.

If you have access to Stewart's, get the orange cream instead. Nectar of the gods.

I went home for Thanksgiving for the first time in several years and went to a restaurant that had Sprecher on tap. I shed a tear of joy.

A lot of brew pubs make a house root beer. Best one I recall was at Blue Frog in Fairfield CA but I think the place closed down recently.

Weinhards is the best widely distributed I've seen itt. IBC good too. Indian Wells Brewing Death Valley Root Beer is great. Small brewery 3 hours north of LA in BFE highway 14/395.
