So me and friend were just talking bout Root Beer Floats and it got me thinking about my favorite all time Root Beer that just disappeared from my life years ago and I wish I could get my hands on some. IMO the best Root Beer ever is Hires. I did a search online and found out they still sell it and started to freak out cuz I thought it was no more. Found it on Amazon but its like $50 for shipping apparently. So tempted to buy a case though. Whats your favorite Root Beer? Anybody ever made there own?

Out of the national brands, IBC is solid.

IBCs cost $3.25 at the local bar.

Can still buy Hires in Louisville, KY.

My fav is IBC.

A&W rootbeer straight from an A&W is the absolute nuts imo

IBC is good but pricey imo

Kennebunk, Ogunquit, South Portland.

Cane Sugar makes the difference.

Birch beer tastes might fine as well.

Let an A and W sit out for 10-15 minutes before opening it. Changes the flavor completely; for the better imo.
