OOT Fat Off aka MLYLT containment thread OOT Fat Off aka MLYLT containment thread

MLYLT has a thread in H&F with all her background info

In 2011, as was well-documented in OOT, I weighed 295. I lost 60+ pounds in a medical weight loss program and another 30+ on my own in about 9 months. Got severely addicted to pills during/after that, weight went back up to 235 or so right after I got sober, so that's around the beginning of 2013. Have been below 210 since then, that's held for 3+ years. So I know a thing or two about weight loss, slipping and recommitting, etc.

Coaching available, PM for rates!

FWIW I know nothing about 27's opponent, but I don't think I need to. He's going to absolutely destroy her.

Thanks for the offer LFS, but I already locked up YTF as my Fat Coach/Breads Logger.

Some background on me:

I'm 31, 5'7" and now about 28bs.
I was 145lbs until I was 22. I gained 100lbs that year from being depressed after getting married. I started to loose weight when I was 26, but then go pregnant and went back up to 250. I slowly got up to 290, and when I was 28-29 tried to loose weight and got down to 240; I met code 3 about this time. I've crept back up to the 280s since then.

I want to lose weight because I'm sick of being a fat ass. I want to feel good about myself, I want to wear a bikini, I want to have the energy to go on trips and go rock climbing and kayaking etc.
I really want to change my life and my lifestyle. I want to be happy again.

Not weighing my food, but I've mostly been wasting salmon, tuna fish, chicken. I get 10oz fish filets and eat the whole thing.

Who wants to be my coach and generate a workout plan for me to follow?

MLYLT,

Thought you had a bunch of coaches/supporters in your H&F thread already.

I've lost 6lbs since the bet was proposed!

Sooooo glad I weighed myself last night(today) and posted my start weight. After seeing number this morning, one of my better drunken decisions.

27,

Fwiw that probably shouldn't be allowed.
07-01-2016 , 11:09 AM
And why would that be? July 1 is July 1 imo.
07-01-2016 , 11:12 AM
Meh. Clearly against the spirit of the bet. Unless the spirit of the bet is angleshooting, which I admit is very possible, I haven't been following too closely.
07-01-2016 , 11:15 AM
I think we should do morning only weigh ins. We can let the first one slide, and I'll take my afternoon weight today...prolly 4lbs heavier.
07-01-2016 , 11:17 AM
See, this is the kind of **** I said needed to be ironed out in the last 2-3 dang weeks.

Ugggh...I'm going to Taco Bell.

SO many angleshoot possibilities even if weigh-ins are legit... dropping 10 pounds quickly is not hard (wrestlers and boxers before weigh-in) and neither is gaining that much temporarily if you have blown the month anyway, to set yourself up for next month.

Why not just make the commitment to lifetime fitness, find a sustainable weight loss rate that works for you personally, and forget all about this silly bet made for chump change? Just asking...

What are you? A commie?

That's almost banworthy

I'm willing to admit that I'm shallow enough to have now dumped my MLYLT fantasy.

Here's a story about a weight loss prop bet from one of the old NYC poker clubs:

It was a friend v. somebody nobody liked and they did a weigh-in at the club. The other guy got on the scale first and weighed so much that I told my friend that he should insist that they both get mostly naked bec the other guy couldn't possibly weigh what the scale said and he must be cheating to which my friend said 'I can't do that.' lolololol

Is this your first time? You have a lot of catching up to do.

Still LOL that "weight<hyphen>loss" is in the profanity filter. I am aware of the reason, but for poker players, "************" is a four-letter word.

Stay strong! Don't do it!
07-01-2016 , 12:39 PM
Mlylt: "Lose"

27, mlylt: lol contest will be a joke if you don't set up good policies for standard weigh ins over multiple days for each checkin point. Otherwise you can easily angle multiple pounds each weigh-in.

All: back up the truck on 27 IMO

suggestions?

Anyone interested in the MLYLT side of the contest?
