I can't keep up but regardless even having that expectation of a bf is out there. If I had been in the same situation I would have done the cake stuff early and gotten pics out of the way and hurried him out the door letting the party continue. Kids are resilient and someone leaving a party early wouldn't even be on their radar, as long as everyone carries on having fun. Obviously if your mum was upset and stressed about it that would make an impact. Anyway hopefully therapy can help her. It must be an exhausting way of life.

Pretty amazing isnt it. Alobar, sensible and intelligent guy goes and makes a statement like that. Don't ask me to explain it.

The only reasonable explanation to humanities unwillingness to face obvious truths is a combination of the following: Im not covering all of it here but this is a good start.

1) Its too great a psychological hurdle for people to overcome

2) Psychological conditioning

3) Brainwashing through the media and schooling which begins at an early age

People are very invested in their world view because they judge and identify tehmself based on it.

If you accept some inconvenient truths about the world you have to reconsider your place and role in it.

That can be very painful.

The whole Orwellian new speak double think is also a big part of it.

A few people I highly respect independently of each other claimed the whole world was in a state of Stockholm syndrome and there is a lot of truth to that too.

It means the whole world has been taken hostage and instead of fighting their oppressors people laude and try to appease to them.

I feel like this inadequately explains what I am talking about. Its the basic idea but should be explained more eloquently. I will have to think about how to express myself better on this.

Its strange how some like myself can easily make the transition as it certainly is logical. "Just follow the money trail".

"Who had the most to gain".

Really in the end, its all about $$$$ and power and control.

The past 6,500 posts of total nonsense has been what I imagine going to a Patriots game is like. No matter how unprosperous things seemed it was not LL's day to lose.
