Everything you've posted about poker makes it likely IMO that you are a losing poker player. The only games I can imagine you might have an edge vs the opponents are games so small the rake is near impossible to overcome. Given what you've written about your financial situation, I think it's a pretty poor decision for you to continue playing poker unless you were to actually put some time and effort into learning the game.

I never said I couldn't afford shoes for my child, I just want her dad to stop being an idiot and let he wear the shoes he buys to school. I can also afford pants, I just hate spending money on things I'll only use a few times. I make a budget and make ends meet just fine.

And lol at a flip. It's at least 70/30

You're unlikely to be as bad as a 70-30 dog vs J in any HU format finishing in a reasonable time. You're probably no worse than a 60-40 dog, and maybe as close as like 55-45.
