Do you understand what is meant by 'following the same logical pattern'?
I'm asking you where you draw the line.
So, its reasonable to sympathise with an African wishing that his own country afforded him better economic opportunity and that he didn't have to emigrate to Europe. Fair enough.
Its reasonable to scold a Londoner wishing that his home town afforded him better economic opportunity and that he didn't have to move away. Also fair enough.
However, at what level does one become the other?
Would you scold a Pole and tell him that he could easily find a better life in France, the US or UK? Or does he fit into the same category as the African?
P.S. The accent in the UK can change radically in far less than 60 miles. Just a small point there old chap.
