Ok so i messaged this girl on okcupid and she messaged back asking to accompany her to a spot where she wanted to do some photographs (shes interested in art and i briefly mentioned my interest). I got the message too late but said sure for the next night, asked for her number, and she said to call her. We talked on the phone for a bit and im meeting her tonight night at some scenic spot to do some photography. How should i proceed tonight about seeing her again if i like her which based on the phone conversation i think i will?

Would it be ok to like ask her on a date at the end of the night or just casually ask to hang out again? Or should i not say anything about next time and just call/text her another time?

Any advice would be appreciated

Don't ask her out at the end. If you had a good time, tell her you did. If you want to call her again, tell her that. From your limited paragraph I wouldn't recommend asking her on a formal date at the end of your first meet up. Wait a few days and then broach that subject if you want to go that route.

perhaps my last response to you was badly worded, idk. what i was saying is that your 'im not gonna get her number but instead just ask to meet up first' idea is one of those good in theory, bad in practice things.

in theory, its somewhat plausible that your idea is better/safer/whatever for her because the guy doesnt have her number and cant phone-stalk her. in practice, however, girls have NO PROBLEM giving you their number on online dating sites. and, perhaps surprisingly to you, this almost never leads to them getting constantly called and texted by creepy weirdos.

i ACTUALLY HAVE met/dated/whatever else tons of girls via online dating over the last 3 years or so and talked extensively with a lot of them about online dating. [ftr this is not a brag of any kind as id much rather be the smooth club/bar guy who walks up to them, chats them up, and then either leaves with them or gets their number. but, unfortunately, thats just not me. sigh.] none of them have been afraid to give guys their numbers and none of them ever said they had any creepy stalker incidents or anything. creepy guys sending them messages on the site and some weird first dates, sure. but not that other stuff. there is much less of a stigma associated with online dating lately and girls arent afraid to give you their number.

and as far as having never really trying it your way...well, yeah duh. its not very intuitive so ofc i havent. sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie but i wouldnt know cuz id never eat the filthy mother****er.

maybe you have gotten TONS OF DATES with your way. im not saying you havent. but theres almost no way its the best way. and this whole discussion started when i gave a poster a simple, efficient, effective way to get a girls number from an online dating site and you came in with your whole NO GUYS THIS IS HOW YOU REALLY DO IT attitude.
