I think the Yankees have showed their hand, there going to be a not great, not bad but average team. The Hitting is good but hitting has variance, there pitching is average. The only i think the Yankees can be consistent on is being slightly above average. I think there going to continue there win percent and hover around .550

The RedSox have veterans, they have talent, they can be dangerous. The Redsox any day could come out of this hole and get good. I wouldnt be surprised to see them going on a bunch of 5-6 game win streaks and slowly creep into it. No one knows what to expect.

I prefer put the Redsox in a big hole so if they do get good or correct things, it will be to late to fix it and have a 2 man face the whole time.

sigh

Small sample size but since this post the Yankees have gone 2-4 with pitching and batting randomly showing up in games and Boston is on a 6 game win streak.

NL wins the most games this set of interleaugue matchups except NYYvs.Mets.

Bartolo Colon is strong like bull and Jeter/posada can't flex a muscle,Mo looks human. I see something weird here HGH use?

The Yankees paid way, way too much for nostalgia.

Posada is 39 (40 this August), Mariano is 41, and even Jeter is 36 (37 next month). Jeter's new contact in particular is a boondoggle. At least Posada's contract is up this year.

Rays just did one of the most amazing things ever in MLB history. Not even just coming back from 9.5GB in Sept. but also coming back from 7-0 in the 8th. Then be down to your final strike and hit a HR, Then another HR in the 12th. Amazing.

P.s. Thanks Carl Crawford!
P.P.s The Red Sux watched the rays comeback because they were in a rain delay when TB did it.....

In the last two nights, Mike Napoli got four home runs in four at-bats against the team who traded him. It was ****ing incredible to see.
