LOL. You are pissed off, because she didn't feel obligated to sleep with you for a necklace.

How expensive was it?

Are you familiar with Mardi Gras beads?

Lapka,

I'm guessing it was more of a fun necklace like a leather or string/beads thing rather than a jewelry type necklace.

I thought, that it was nothing expensive. And it made me wonder why did ATF ask it back. It is somehow like in the HS. I don't like you any more, so give me back my friendship bracelet.

I'm back in the Mix. I've got 2 dates this week and one on the weekend. The problem I am finding is that these girls are so "busy" that they can only schedule one night a week. All three live at the other end of the city 45 min - 1 hr drive. Not ideal, They have reasons for being busy, but I am pretty sure I am not the only guy.

Anyone notice a high number of girls/bots on Tinder who went to NYU or London School of Economics? None of them matched with me so I can't figure out the angle.

I read the other day that the reason single women outnumber men in cities like NY is that women tend to move to affluent cities where there are lots of rich, single men. Lol women.

Fossilkid93, What's your background/basic story about moving to France? Seems like a really cool thing to do. I lived in Lyon for a summer. Check out the Smoking Dog pub.

Moved around a lot because of poker, spent a year in Montréal and picked up some French and then moved to Nice for 3 months. Really liked France and Europe and decided to move to Lyon for a year and take intensive French courses to get a student visa. Planning to try and continue studying with an eye towards eventual citizenship if I can PACS or get a job (probably difficult in the current climate) down the road. Online poker is still going well enough for now to keep supporting myself while I study.

Anyway, Lyon has blown me away as a city, and the women are stunning. I prefer skinny brunettes, of which there seems to be an endless supply. It would be less interesting to those who prefer blondes or curvier women. I found an awesome yoga studio nearby and am planning to go to classes 5-6 times a week, so I will devote less time to grinding dating apps/sites and just rely on yoga or my current social network to meet women. Thanks for the pub recommendation! It's now starred on Google Maps.

Nice. You might want to take one of your 3rd/4th dates to Annecy for a day or even overnight trip. There's a nice lake, the Alps, and the town has a laid back/cool/walkable vibe. Any of the chics who like a picnic date will definitely dig Annecy. (disclaimer: I went in the summer- not sure how the weather is in Fall.)

What's your basic approach for getting dates from yoga? I go to a studio a few times a week but am slightly hesitant about asking out other students. Maybe I just need to man up but I'm worried about things being awkward/slightly awkward if it doesn't work out.
