I guess amazon is ahead of haveibeenpwned.com because my wife's account doesn't show up.

Add me to the list of neteller compromises.

Does anyone here live in lake tahoe/reno? I'll be there in June.

Lake Tahoe and Reno are two completely different worlds.

You fly into Reno to get to Tahoe, it has the nearest costco, etc...

Yeah I gathered reno and tahoe were very different. So I'm doing this in tahoe...

https://www.totalrewards.com/content...ke%20Tahoe.pdf

But I'm flying in and out of Reno so I added 2 extra nights in Reno afterwards because I've never been and it's free.

I'll be doing most of the stuff on that list in tahoe but want some other things to do. I'll be solo so I'm thinking maybe going hiking, parasailing, or jet skiing. One thing not listed on the itinerary is that there is also a boat they'll bring us out on for a sunset so that'll be cool. Restaurant recommendations? Looking for mainly local cheap restaurants. I'm not much of a beach person but will probably get down there at least once. I'm expecting lake tahoe to be paradise. I won't be gambling much.

In Reno I'm expecting a west coast version of current AC. Probably will suck but I'm sure there has to be some cool stuff to do for a first timer. I'll probably be playing some poker here.

Edit... I'm going solo but I'll know a small handful of people from my local casino making the same trip. They are all older than me (32) and traveling with spouses, so yeah. But, a friend from high school is a host a Harrahs and she told me she'll introduce me to some of her friends.

Paging RenoDoc

I think RenoDoc works in the ER. If you do see him, Villian, I hope it's not professionally.

Get babs to meet up with you

If you are staying in Reno you need to go camping one night.

Worlds are colliding.

Reese's strongly hinted(not officially announced yet) they're bringing out a Reese's cup filled with Reese's Pieces.

So I was thinking of doing a podcast where people send me stories about crazy **** that happens at work, bitch about their bosses, stupid **** that companies do to cut cost....
What do y'all think? Good idea? Name suggestions?
05-11-2016 , 10:00 PM
I listen to all kinds of podcasts, and I'm trying to imagine why I'd want to listen to a podcast where some random person reads other people's stories. What would you bring to the table? Are you assuming that you'd be a really good curator of work stories, or would you provide some kind of compelling narrative or advice?
05-11-2016 , 10:15 PM
In this podcast I will read excerpts from the 'irritating office yambags thread'.

When you hear Little Debbie's hoofbeats, think nutty bars not zebra nutty bars.

I did just that. It was fine, I guess, but i didn't think it was anything special -- and certainly not waiting in line for, or driving around Vermont looking for more cans. I quite frankly don't get the hype.

I'm not really sure. I think I could deliver the stories well. A lot of my guy friends whom I went to engineering school with like to call me and discuss things that are going on with them at work. They like that I understand the situations and can relate, and mostly they are like a bunch of gossiping teenybopper girls who like to talk about the dirty shenanigans at their jobs. It feels good to vent as well, but sucks when your SO or the ppl around you don't get it. I can
provide a sense of empathy with fun I guess.
