Earlier you said you never charged your phone and used headphones at the same time. How has the amount of wires been reduced? You know what hasn't been reduced? The amount of adapters you need in order to use a decent pair of headphones. How's that for starting with the user experience?
Edit: Also, fewer ports doesn't equate to a better UX. It equates to a better Apple engineer experience. Their whole marketing this year has been that removing ports makes their lives easier. The end user obviously would be better off with the option to use 3.5mm/lightning/bluetooth. It obviously doesn't affect us one way or another if there's an extra port (IP67 and 3.5mm jacks are not mutually exclusive).
