Some chick on my facebook feed put those little googly eyes on all the food in her fridge and all her mommy friends are telling her what an awesome april fools day prank that is.

This was my workflow:

1) See March LC thread is locked
2) Look on page 1 and page 2 for April LC thread
3) See no thread
4) ctrl-f "April", still nothing
5) Make thread and see what happens

We've had a pretty good run with solid lc titles. I guess every good thing must come to an end

This kind of came up in the Facebook updates thread around the topic of ****ty April Fool's jokes, but doesn't fit in that thread, so:

when I was a Freshman in HS, and hadn't really dated or been out with girls much, I was eating lunch and these two sophomores, one guy and one girl, came up to me. It was April 1. They asked if I knew a sophomore girl, maybe because it was a school of about 2000 students total. I did, she was pretty cute, neither popular nor unpopular. They said she wanted to go out with me.

All I could think was, "What a crappy April Fool's joke. They're making fun of me, this sucks." I kind of deferred and asked some vague questions, and eventually I think I eventually just said something like, "This is a crappy April Fool's joke." They left and she came over and asked me out herself a short time later. I was still wary but of course said yes. She's a sophomore, and blonde!

She was serious and even though I was happy, I definitely thought that she picked a really stupid ****ing day to ask out a nerdy guy a year younger than her. We dated for a while, and it turned out she really wasn't very bright. Still have good memories though.
