Yea there's an issue with some stores not doing it correctly. It's some weird thing where they ring up "LivingSocial Big Mac" and fries for $1.50 and $1.00, and then they credit it out. A lot of stores aren't crediting them out.

Some people are paying tax (22 cents in your case), some aren't.

Surprised there isn't more discussion on it yet in here.

Pretty sure it was a glitch though. I'll have my revenge.

mine came yesterday, but this will be my first and last time ever using one of those coupon sites like this or groupon if they try to charge me money.

I didn't wanted to create a separate thread for the question so I'm going to ask here.

Speaking hypothetically. Do you guys think, it's possible to eat three Big N' Tasty meals (burger, fries and a drink of your choice) within 2 hour period? The person who has to eat them weights about 150lb and isn't professional eater or anything.

Where can you still get the Big 'N Tasty?? They got rid of those around me monthes ago. Sucks 'cause that was literally the only food my fiancee would eat from mcdonalds.

Ummm yeah, thats an easy accomplishment.

They should be 213g which i about 0.5lb. And don't forget the fries ( should be something around 0.2lb ).

Maybe it's me, but I haven't ever been able to eat more than on meal in one sitting.

Have you guys seen the new Coke Machines, with every product made by Coca Cola in them? They have a bunch of pre made mixes too, unless they really sell an Diet Coke Orange somwhere.

does anyone have any good stories from working in the fast food industry? I worked at McDonald's when I was 16. It was awesome. 1/2 price on the food was f'in sweet. And being able to cook 9 frozen hamburgers in 48 seconds (i think) was nice.

My friends would come in for bfast and order the big breakfast. I'd smuggle them like 4 extra sausage patties under the hotcakes. Once I got caught and the manager was PISSED.

I also worked with an ex-con. Dude was dumber than dirt. All he did all day was make fajitas which no one ever ordered.

i worked at a cheesesteak place in the mall as a senior in high school. typically at night there would just be two people working together.

one guy i worked with was a big black guy named lorenzo. he was the laziest guy around and did basically nothing all shift, except for cleaning the grill at the end. he would clean that thing 20x better than anyone else and spend over an hour on it. id usually do it in 5 minutes, but his looked brand ****ing new. every night one of about five women would call and hed tell me to answer it and tell them he wasnt there. once he caught a glimpse of one walking towards our counter and he ran out the back door and didnt come back all night because she was going to ask him for a ride home. he is planning on making a rap album.

there was another dude a bit later on who got moved to our location because he was banned from the mall across town where he used to work for making sexual remarks to customers. he worked about 90 hours a week. this guy was crazy and instead of working would rather make up the most ridiculous stories to tell people, like about how he used to be in the cia before becoming a personal chef for panthers players and working at 5 star restaurants downtown. once he was having a bad day and went out for a smoke break. he ended up locking himself out. about fifteen minutes later he was marching furiously down the food court because he thought me and my friend had locked him out on purpose. he jumped over our counter while there were customers in line, filled up a bucket of ice, and slung it out into the dining area before marching off screaming. he was back at work the next day like nothing had happened and plans to open a seafood restaurant at myrtle beach.

its such an awesome collection of people that i would typically never interact with.

the manager was some big guy named tom. i had a friend already working there and he told me i should start because it was good money for high school and i got as much free food as i wanted. sold. the "interview" was one question: when can you start.

obviously our biggest day was the day after thanksgiving. this manager had no concept of marginal returns so he scheduled every employee on the staff to come in. we had a dozen people working in a space that normally 4 handled on a weekend. theres only two registers, one grill, a cold table for toppings, and fries so i have no idea what he expected all these people to do. he started on the grill (since he didnt trust any of us to "keep up") while half of us just hang out in the back. i come up to nab some fries to eat and see a decent line, four orders on the screen, and about ten sandwiches stacked in a pyramid on the counter that no one had even ordered with the guy working the cold table throwing his hands up in the air as the manager puts down another one.

I got the $2 meatball from subway again today. It was good besides me wanting to punch the cashier in the head. He didn't even make the sandwich, just walked out from the back to ring me up. "no chips of drink with that?" no just the sandwich. I hand him 20.25. He rings me up for $4.24. I say it's $2. He looks at me like he doesn't believe me/ has no idea what I'm talking about. The guy who made the sandwich now gets involved. The guy thentries to hand me $14 and like 17 cents back. Now I'm getting mad. He says something like oh no chips or drink. Finally, finally gets it right, and I just calmly say we're good, and leave.
1. Don't try to hustle chips/ drink to me, I hate that.
2. Know your specials ( $2 six inch meatball )
3. Have basic cognition.
4. **** off dude.

I don't know why, but from reading this post I just can't help but picture you as that guy who talks loudly on a Bluetooth everywhere he goes in public.

I sympathize, mostly because
1) I can do the math in my head,
2) I expect that the cashier can punch 20.25 into the system and the system will tell him how much to give me back, and
3) I don't need a whole bunch of change in my pocket.

I doubt that I've done this more than once or twice a year in the past 5 years or so, though, since I use a card for everything anyway, but I don't think it's such a bad thing, and I think FPS is an overstatement.

It's not about helping the cashier.
