Yeah, that's not lasagna.

And it's really, really awful. Why not save some money and buy Chef Boyardee, same thing.

not sayin it's bad. still, you're an idiot if you're ordering anything not on the dollar menu on a regular basis.
Spicy chicken sandwich tho?

If you don't have a chick-fil-a, McDonalds makes a 100% ripoff passable approximation to the Chick-fil-a chicken sandwich.

Never had five guys before and I've heard so many rave reviews. One just opened near me in May. Definitely getting it on my way back from class tomorrow.

Heres pics of my Ws. very generous w the lettuce today and i think the special sauce is just mac sauce (1000 island dressing).

FYI, the Chic-Fil-A is in the basement of the Cathedral of Learning.

Went to the drive through today, ordered two McDoubles and a small fry. Got a Big Mac, large fries, and a McDouble instead. What a delicious surprise

I remember I once enjoyed Subway...I think it was the Italian sub. Then I wanted to go again and whatever I ordered made me feel gross. The smell of the place is kind of nasty too. Saw this article today about it: http://www.foodrepublic.com/2011/12/...ay-bread-smell

But now with these $2 subs, I'm going to have to eat quite a few Subway sandwiches just on principle.

my rec is to never even taste it given a rare opportunity if you eat wendys spicy chickens on the regular, as it will ruin them

I'll be trying Five Guys now that I know there's 2 in Vegas (one is close to the pad). Saw it on the way home from Arby's.

I feel your pain being from MA too - pretty much just those, plus Subways and lots of Chipotle/Panera. But you can still find a lot of these places. Five Guys locations are popping up all over, and there is a Popeyes near Fenway park and a Chik-Fil-A at the Burlington Mall. Arbys and Sonic are here and there, but also pretty tough to find. What's worse is pizza chains - it's pretty much Dominos or local joints. Barely any signs of Little Caesars or Papa Johns.

it's super cliche to say, but it's true, you can get much better pizza from a local joint, and there's absolutely no shortage of them in this area.

i've never lived anywhere else in the country, but everyone i talk to that moves here from somewhere else always comments about the fact that there's a pizza/sub joint on every corner. i guess in the midwest it's just ****ty dominos or what? don't know.

Do Americans consider Chinese/Thai to be fast food?

no, unless you're talking about something like panda express (which we don't have here, unless you count logan!)

I consider some (Americanized) Chinese take-out to be roughly fast food.

There are certainly Chinese restaurants that are not fast food, so I wouldn't characterize the whole cuisine as such.

Apologies if this was covered in earlier in the thread, but is there a consensus on which airports have the best (or worst) fast food offerings?

I had a layover in Houston, and it delivered nicely with a Popeyes and Subway next to each other. San Francisco on the other hand was terrible - just a BK. Granted I was only in one particular terminal, but it didn't look promising.

I know that Atlanta has Chick-Fil-A because my wife's company had a gathering there and apparently all the corporate bigwigs could talk about was making sure to hit Chick-Fil-A coming and going.

Any airports that rise well above or fall well below expectations?

my usual breakfast order at Mcdonald's is 3 sausage biscuits (also $3.00) :/

I find it quite easy to eat that much, but then I'm usually not hungry again until dinner time.

Last time I had a morning flight out of McCarran it was just a BK. Ugh. Could have been terminal-specific, though, and I know they have other (non-fast) food options.
