Yes it sure does for me. Potato salad makes me gag thinking about it. Better result then the full fever I get from mayo but...

I think this is a good, realistic assessment of mayo for most non mayo lovers. I think it can be used as a good mold or starting agent to some things. I def have a mental block about it. Like crabcakes, I am pretty sure I used to like these a long time ago and they look great, but the fact that most are made with mayo (not all thank god) as a binding agent makes me never ever eat it. I see this as more of a mental leak in my food game.

Miracle whip is so good. I have eaten small spoonfuls by itself in the past. Ok more than once.
For those that like MW, I'm about to blow some minds. Miracle whip and peanut butter sandwich. I mean it. Don't knock til you try it. Totally ready for the ensuing hatred.

I don't feel hate for the mentally challenged, it's more like pity actually.

Mayo is basically sandwich lube for me. Analogous to sex, too little and it's dry and unexilerating. Too much and it overpowers the other flavors and textures.

Re: New fast food discussion/review thread
I think I just had a ton of over-mayoed sandwiches growing up, because I really hated it as a kid. It's still not my primary choice for a condiment, but if it comes on a sandwich and it's light, I can't really tell and will eat it, although I have to repress the mental shudder.
Spicy mustard is the correct sandwich condiment, tho. Lubricating AND delicious/spicy.

(wasn't really aware there were any up here and had just wrote it off as a treat when i head back east..but some googling shows they've been getting going out here. definitely worth the drive. but even with an in-n-out and 5 guys down there ive been going to this little place called superburger--place is incredible.
