I too suffered this day from a TB being out of the reaper sauce. I got two chipotle instead and they were alright.

My usual TB go to includes 2 of the Frito Wrap dollar menu burritos. What if they used the reaper sauce in those instead of the "cheesy" sauce? ooooooo

Nothing more grim than a reaper sauce shortage. I'm going back today for 2 or 3 more, they better have some or things might get ugly.

My taco bell was out of reaper sauce when I went on Sunday, and I had hoped they would restock before Thursday but they didn't.

Unpopular opinion: McFlurrys suck. They have toppings for the first third if you’re lucky, then the bottom is just plain. DQ Blizzards or Sonic blasts are far superior treats. And custard concretes like you’d find at Freddy’s or Culver’s are even better than those. McFlurry is to the “blizzard”-style treat what Subway is to the sandwich, the very worst possible option. Now go start treating yourselves like you deserve.

Years ago, there was a significant percentage of my young adult life that I got to order an Arby's Super roast beef and a Reese Polar Swirl. Both are now gone. I miss that meal.

They also have Tiny Tacos that look like those frozen things at the store. Good for those drinkin' nights. When I'm drinkin' I make sure to stay away from the oven.

I think mcflurry relative hate is generally spot on. The promotional Rolo ones they had a couple years ago were amazing though, precisely because they bucked the normal trend: they were 15% chocolate and 45% caramel (give or take).

Not an ice cream fan at all but it’s hard to agree with a McFlurry sucks take when comparing to DQ, Freddys, or Culver’s. 2/3 of these chains are super regional and the other doesn’t have a ton of locations. On demand soft serve is a definite feature of McDonald’s.

Exactly. Mickeys are everywhere, and I can get McFlurried and home in 10 minutes tops. The local DQ is not only closed in the winter, but it's 15 minutes each way and it would be half melted by the time I got home. Mickeys got gargantuan by being available and consistent.

edit: And, since the one closest to me is open 24 hours, it's taking all of my willpower to resist going and getting one now at 1 am.

For lunch today, I fed my family the Taco Bell Nachos Party Box. Damn, there was some decent weight to that thing. $10 to feed a family lunch seems to be a good deal imo.
