Al - Wendy's new fries are very good and a huge improvement over the old ones. I might have to try some of their other sandwiches though, the spicy chicken is the only thing I've ordered there in like the past 10 years.
Five Guys burgers are fantastic. and yeah you get a lot of fries. They're good but a little soggy(a negative if you don't like that). definitely recommend but you're probably gonna spend ~8+ if you go all out. could probably get out with a cheeseburger for $5.

Conflicting opinions on the new fries! I will have to try some time this week. Will report back to the thread.
I used to love Wendy's but the McDouble >>> 1/4th lb double stack plus they were batting about .500 on having baked potatoes available when we'd go by and that was unacceptable. Trying to be less of an ******* meant that the best reason for going there (Frostee) was off the table.

i really try to avoid fast food anymore, but Wendy's spicy chicken is still excellent and I make a ~monthly exception for that.
**** any fast food place trying to do anything but a super basic burger. All this Angus/Smokehouse/fancy nonsense is great in the hands of bistros and what not- but who ever goes to McDonalds for that sort of thing.

Ive only had them twice, wendys isnt in my usual rotation. The lifespan of the fries is also very short, once you get them you need to eat them within a couple minutes. A place like BK for example is better for drive through since the fries maintain some crispiness for a while.

The mushroom and swiss angus from mcdonalds is really good imo, I go for it all the time.
