Not if robots step in and take over those jobs.

For those who miss real Mcds FF, Gladwell did 40 minutes on the latest Revisionist History. Worth the time.

And remember it when it's time to vote.

Someday people will figure out that an $8 an hour job that you can get is better than a $15 an hour job that doesn't exist.

When it's time to vote remember that your decisions affect people other than yourself.

I think it's interesting to contemplate just how many fast food jobs could be automated away.

Anyway, I was going to go to Qdoba for lunch today but the location I visited, which isn't that great by Qdoba standards anyway, had a line out the door. Went next door to Five Guys, zero customers in line. EZ game. Wish other burger places still wrapped in foil, a burger with melty cheese is so much better than the alternative.

I remember Wendy's used to do this.
Reminds me of the time my dad almost set the kitchen on fire by microwaving a JBC.

I put an Arbys roast beef in the microwave when I was a kid and the paper caught flame.

They use foiled coated wrappers for their sandwiches.

Automation is going to happen regardless of minimum wage man. If a robot costs 50 grand to buy and upkeep, you'll make that money back getting rid of someone whether they make 15 or 8 dollars an hour, just not as fast.

Went to a random McDonald's for coffee this morning and they had two spaces marked for curbside service. Sign said that you punch your space number into the app when you arrive.

Seems like a service I would never use, but bravo McD for trying different stuff.

Are you allowed to use two different McDonald's offers in one trip? Like dollar large fries and free medium drink with any purchase? I'd be getting something full price too if that impacts it.

Tab,

One offer per trip. You can make a second trip very soon after the first one, though.

What constitutes a trip is graded more lightly by kiosks.

Last night i went to Red Robin, and on the way home decided I wanted a milkshake. Went through Arbys, got a small jamocha shake, when I spotted Mount Italy and decided I had to try!

Pic doesn't do it proper justice. Sandwich was huge and excellent.

The chic fil a near me has been so backed up and slow lately that I was starting to lose faith in them. Tonight was one of the worst yet, except as I finally hand them my card they said that there would be no charge. They do still care. Chic fil a, never change.

Eating at Red Robin and then impulse stopping at Arby's for a shake and sandwich on the way home is extremely impressive. That's like ordering a couple shots while you wait for your beer to get poured or something.

Big,

How many orders of fries did you have at Red Robin?
