Never been a cheesy gordita crunch fan, though obv haven't tried it with the dorito shell yet. Inner shell is always soggy and it's just too much shell/not enough filling. Chalupas are better in pretty much every way.

I used to eat CGCs very frequently (granted this is 6 years ago or so) and they were much better when eaten immediately at a TB due to this, although this is mostly true for all hard shell TB items I'm sure.

I remember them being megaelite, will try the DCGC soon.

false

though chalupas are excellent and definitely the #2 option at TB behind the CGC

Shouldn't McDonald's have been the first major chain to start implementing the freestyle machines asap? They're more synonymous with Coca-Cola than the others obv. Doing a search, they're mostly at BK and 5 guys, neither of which I go to.

TEH F DO?!?

Closest places to me with the freestyle machines are BK's and DQ's. I don't care for either of them enough to go check out the machine.

And yes, it is worth it.

And that feeling of driving to Chick-fil-a, seeing it's closed, and realizing it's Sunday is so amazingly tilting. I've done that at least 4 times.
This. It's definitely worth it because a couple of them are on the drive between the bay area and the nearby indian casinos: Fairfield, Elk Grove, Sacto and Fresno. (yes, i've been to them all) And there's one two miles from my brother's house in socal too.

I mean, even Sonic has finally made its way into the bay area proper over the past couple of years, Hayward and Gilroy the closest ones to me. I don't see why chick-fil-a can't be far behind.

Beat: the several closest coke freestyle machines are Wing Stops.

Chalupas were good before they got rid of the baja ones

My taco bell added a #10 meal, which is a cgc and 2 tacos. Got a doritos cgc and 2 doritos taco + cheesy potato burrito for goat meal.

Though I think I prefer my cgc without the doritos shell, since the doritos shell is less crunchy than the normal shell.

Just had the Southwest patty melt from Carl's Jr. Jalapenos, pepperjack cheese, chipotle mayo, onions, lettuce, and burger on grilled sourdough.

Solid A.

Most likely liquid BM.

worth it.

Had CGC with dorito shell last night. We were drunk ordering, but the lady taking the order acted as if it was no problem and had been done many times. Got steak one and beef. Beef is the only way to go for this (prob obv) and was fantastic. There is def an argument for being an overload in shell:filling ratio, but it is going to be a repeat order.

i always get a cheese roll up at TB. cheddar, pepper jack, mozz melted into a flour tortilla. dip into your favorite hot sauce. those are awesome. $.79.

am i the only 1 who gets these?

Never really heard of those. I have always been tempted to get the meximelts, but have never pulled the trigger. My order last night (with 1 amigo) was 27$ total. Pretty costly but it was in the name of science. Niether of us overweight I should point out. This thread could easily change that.

funny, i was thinking about that, too. I know they are heavily reliant on efficient systems and was thinking that they don't want to add a slightly more time intensive product into their stores. also, being the largest ff business on the planet, they don't need such draws.

I rarely hit up McD's anymore, but I would love to see them get it. it needs to be the industry standard.

Including the please in there makes it sound more like a request than an order. Anyways, **** them, what does the actual soda cost them anyways, a few pennies at the most?

Is this all McDonald's or was I just lucky? FWIW this one is in close proximity to two junior high schools, a high school, and a community college.

I have only had the freestyle soda at popeyes , duane reade and at the garden, not one of them had a no refill sign.

Had the KFC pot pie for lunch. I can't get on board with "best ff ever", but it is surprisingly good.
