Just got a notification from the Rick Donalds app, and it's giving me devious thoughts. Namely 2 Signature crafted sandwiches, a pile of fries and a fat ****ing Dr. Pepper.

Also 2 for 4 any breakfast sandwich daily through may 14. That's pretty sick, actually, and I kind of hate it because I don't need more encouragement.

Also bogo 10pc mcnuggets. Aka "$1.21 off a 20pc". I haven't had mcnuggets since I ate 60 during the nugget celebration. Might be time for a triumphant return!

Hit Boston Market drive thru for a chicken Market Bowl tonight. Also got a few pieces of dat cornbread. Asked for a Fat ****ing Dr. Pepper but no luck.

Wallys Drive-In in Buckley.

They also had a burger with 3 quarter pound patties and some other exciting things. No egg though.

Wait, subway is still a thing? Other than living in the boonies and having absolutely no other option than death I don't understand eating subway....

Saying that....did an interesting experiment today. Went to raising canes and had leftover dipping sauces in my cabinet from chick fila...so dipped canes chicken in BBQ, chick fila, canes and ranch and it was actually really solid. Not a big fan of just canes but with the other options it was quite solid.

Disclaimer: raising canes is 4 minutes form my house and chick fila is 15 so given the option of equal distance I would still go chick fila.

The Carl's Breakfast Burger presents an interesting dilemma

On one hand, their breakfast offerings are absolutely elite, arguably the best breakfast offerings from the core group of FF restaurants, so the majority of the breakfast burger has those elements going for it

On the other hand, Carl's has the most tasteless burger patties available, roughly on par with McDonald's quality but for different reasons

I plan to give it a shot tomorrow, and I'm sure it's good overall, but I don't see how it wouldn't be improved by replacing the burger patty with one of their elite sausage patties

I went a little over 30 days without fast food. I fell into a trap today with the 4 for 4 @ Wendys with the Double Stack. I took one bite of that juicy double stack in the parking lot and it was pure crack cocaine. I immediately swung back into the drive-thru for a Son of Baconator combo to throw on top. The fries were perfection. Nuggets, piping hot and crispy. No sauce needed.

I feel so good right now, but I'm going to hate myself in the morning.
