Just get a water and another triple decker crunchwrap, calories that matter.

Water has no place in this thread

Having said that, I fully support the "why not add a triple decker crunchwrap?" mantra

Water is actually a good option with taco bell, but when I do it, I get the slushy and finish things off with that

Munchie meals include drinks.

I'd pay $5 for that Popeyes box and gladly buy a large Mt. Dew accompaniment!

Drinks are crap value though, I'm on the "just get water" boat too. Soda tastes good but for me seems to increase the chance of GI upset

Gave the grilled chicken and egg white sandwich a go this morning at Chick-fil-a (free on the app).
Not too bad and a good protein number for the calories. Not really a breakfast person, but will get again at some point.

Speaking of chicken, I just saw a McDonald's commercial.

They now have a Chicken McGriddle for only $2.

Someone is gonna have to try it for SCIENCE.

They've had those a while in my market, it's OK. The chicken has a little bit of a peppery kick, but it's just a chicken patty on the McGriddle bun and it ends up being fairly dry. Every so often I'll get one of those instead of one of my usual $1 breakfast menu items.

I wonder if I can get one of those, sub biscuit for McGriddle, add cheese and maybe a touch of mayo.

Prepare to be underwhelmed and add lots of their house chili sauce to their sandwich. I've had the steamer a few times and it tastes ok but the bread to filling ratio isn't good. Has a chance to be a great sandwich if they'd just add more fillings.

This pizza joint I used to order a lot back in college had ranch that you could not find in any grocery store. Something in it just made the pizza that much magical.

I'd had the $4.99 double jack combo a couple of times now. Filling meal, but not the most amazing burger. Adding bbq sauce helps a bit. I have a feeling adding mayo and removing the veg to make it more like an ultimate cheese would help. Ultimate cheese combo for $4.99 is a really good value.

Starting to get annoyed there isn't a Church's or Popeye's nearby after reading the reports ITT. The last time I went to Church's both the customers ahead of me insisted on freshly fried chicken, and were gonna wait for it.

I've never seen anyone ask for fresh fried chicken. Is fresh fried at those two places really worth waiting? The customers were big dudes of the samoan/african american type.

My dog is still messed up after eating that Carolina Gold.

edit: Safeway supermarket customers, they've changed the salt levels so that their Snack Artist brand of potato chips tastes basically the same as Lays, at 1/3 the price.

$6/lb for potato chips is a bit redic, thanks Safeway kitchen scientists. Please fix your fried chicken.

Try making Hidden Valley buttermilk mix with the powder packet.

At least that's basically what I was looking for, the stuff that you're not going to get in a bottle.

I get that feeling with WingStop ranch. I love that stuff.

Funny part is that I only use it with the celery and carrot sticks.

Steve, there's a Popeyes less than 2 miles from Fortune Poker.

Georgia Gold.

Worked at Lee's in the late 90s, this wasn't an unusual request, would happen maybe once a shift.

Depending on the exact location, day, etc, the chicken can be sitting in the warmer for a good while. I didn't think there was much difference between fresh fresh and sitting a few minutes, but obviously the longer it sits the more dried out and dead it becomes. If I'm getting an 8+ piece I'll usually ask when the spicy was dropped, and if it's been a while I'll ask about the regular. If spicy sounds old I'll forego it in favor of fresher regular, and if both are old I'll get the spicy and be angry because who waits for fresh chicken?

Again, all experience caveat late 90's practice.
