Last November or so, I picked up a pizza from Papa John's and they had attached a coupon code for 50% off everything til the end of the year. The code was only good for that specific location and looked like it had been sponsored by a local 3rd party business for advertising purposes

A couple weeks ago I plugged in the coupon and it still worked (didn't realize at the time that it should have been expired). Then yesterday I did it again and finally noticed on the flyer that it should have expired December 31, yet it worked again.

Am I dick for continuing to use the coupon? It works for everything on the site, sodas, cheesy bread, already discounted items, etc. at 50% off. Am I screwing a local business by continuing to use the coupon that maybe they don't realize is still going through?

I've always carried-out while using this code and no one has batted an eye when I go to pick it up
Maybe the offer from that store is still valid and you just don't know about it. So that's why your code still works.

The thing is Papa John's frequently offers 50% off everything for various purposes. Local team winning, etc. For being a Stations Casinos employee I got 50% off all Vegas Papa Johns.

Has anyone tried their cheeseburger pizza with the ****ing dill pickles on it?

I would take it into the store and ask if they are okay with you still using. (And not one of the clueless teenagers who hates their job)

I probably would not have been bold enough to continue trying the coupon into the new year but if it still worked I'd continue to take advantage. Not sure what's so sacred about the date on the flyer - if they don't want to honor it or are losing money they can stop. Also screw Papa John that guys can suck it.

Yeah, Papa John's has 50% all the damn time. I wouldn't buy it without getting at least 40% off. They know people are going to use coupons and then they have the people who stupidly pay full price.

Plus as Bighurt pointed out they have coupons for when teams win or lose or various other dependent promotions. Someone has to be turning these on or off (maybe automated for reoccurring events, but still new codes need to be implemented).

Pepsi50 has worked for a year+ to get 50% off at Papa Johns for me.

Papa Johns is like the Oriental rug store near me that has a "going out of business 50% off" sign. Sign has been there for 10+ years.

Keep using the coupon.

Rosati's is the one that needs a permanent half-off coupon. Good pizza, but damn it's expensive.

Rosatis with the logo of three old Italian men?

Thought that was only Chicago

I don't know who made this list of the top 50 ff items but they need to diversify their ff experiences more. Because there are things on here that belong nowhere near the list, and glaring omissions.

Maybe that's why it's so expensive, because they have to travel 2000 miles to get it to me.

It looks like a list made by a guy who only goes to 5-6 places. I mean, no Fatburger? Also, how do you list stuff from Arby's and not include the Beef-n-Cheddar?

Sounds like most agree there is no harm in continuing to use the coupon, so I will keep using it til they cut me off

My fear was that every time I got a $20 order for half-off, some poor mom and pop shop was getting a bill for $10 to make up the difference, but I suppose if that's how it worked they would have corrected it by now

Rosatis isn't great to me, but they do have two slices for 6.50 or something. I probably couldn't eat two full slices if I tried.

So that inept Taco Bell by me ran out of all their sauces the other day. I think I had ordered a DD taco and a couple soft tacos and the girl asked "Would you like sauce? Sorry right now we only have ketchup and picante sauce." Not even going to address ketchup but I asked about the picante sauce and she showed it to me and it looked to me like they had sent an employee over to loot a RealBerto's or something because this wasn't TB sauce at all. I love this place with their frequent "We're waiting on a truck" excuse for running out of all sorts of things. Like getting to Portland is like getting a truck to Nome, AK or something.

I actually bought taco bell sauce bottle from the grocery store a while back. Pro move since it's hotter in taste. Non pro move leaving it in the fridge when my ex and I broke up. She tossed that **** out!

Seems like it's usually on sale for about a buck a bottle, so that non-pro move shouldn't set you back too far.

I probably have enough unused sauce packets on hand to get through WW3, so no bottles for me.

The picture of the roast beef sandwich they used is a beef and cheddar, weirdly. I do appreciate the placement of the Cheesy Gordita Crunch at 13, best item at TB. But overall I was underwhelmed

Not sure if it's been mentioned here for awhile but if you like Wendy's chili make sure to ask for a few packets of the chili seasoning. Definitely adds more flavor. I totally forgot about this until my buddy ordered it right in front of me and I tried it. They never offer the packets unless you ask.

I had forgotten about those. They are awesome and thought Wendy's stopped offering them. Great LPT!
