Went to Jack in the Box. Realized I've never had the ultimate cheeseburger, and was intending to get it. But they have a new BLT cheeseburger combo for $4.99, so I got that. It was like a large JBC, pretty good.

Went to In n Out today and, in an effort to be healthy, decided to forego my beloved animal style and only get grilled onions (which they subsequently forgot). Was perfectly mediocre, definitely a good value (also had a cash back deal on credit card) but I still don't think it's nearly as good as most people claim without the accoutrement of extra spread and a mustard grilled patty.

Tried Habit for the first time and went drive thru. Got a mushroom char w bacon...burger was smaller tha I expected but it was very good, enjoyed it a lot, fries were good, but ended up being not as warm as I would have liked. Would totally go again though, good burger.

Went to Steak and Shake tonight with my son and it was the best meal I've ever had there. Enormously cheesy burger with jalapenos, french fries COVERED with sea salt and pepper, and a smores milkshake.

Everything was great, even the fries (which I normally don't like, but I don't think I've ever chosen the salt/pepper add-on). Service was sooooooper slow - took over an hour before we walked out, but on a random Friday night it wasn't a big deal.
