I hadn't had a Whopper for years, so when I saw the chance I stole (?) a friend's BK receipt for a free one. You have to fill out an online survey (resisted the temptation to write in that I had ordered a Whopperito that had a stillborn baby dog in it) and get a code, and they were sticklers about seeing this at BK. They also won't let you order a "value" drink or fries for the deal, you have to get at least smalls, which are both $1.99 here. I was surprised that Whoppers are now $5.19. So $3.98 for the meal, not bad. I remember someone saying the pro move was to order it off the broiler, so I did that. It actually wasn't bad! A solid B, nothing about it was gross. I think BK has changed their fries again since I've been last, since they weren't atrocious, maybe like a C, but they had fry sauce so I up them to a B. I don't know how to grade a diet Coke, it's ice and diet coke. Is BK improving somehow? I might not wait another few years for my next Whopper now, but would probably want to use the coupon again.

taco bell is quite simply a fire sauce delivery mechanism. i wouldn't say i have a fetish, but i probably add more to every item than most.

77. Chips & Guacamole
76. Biscuit Taco
75. Cheesy Roll-Up
74. Chips & Pico de Gallo
73. Premium Latin Rice
72. Breakfast Crunchwrap, California
71. Hot Sauce Packet
my personal list of items ranked too low, especially when considering value:

56. Breakfast Crunchwrap (sausage ldo...should be easy top 10)
54. Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito (what more do you want for a buck?)
49. Shredded Chicken Burrito (when made right, fantastic for < two bucks)
21. Shredded Chicken Mini Quesadilla (the swiss army knife of TB...so many hacks include this item for just one buck more)
18. Beefy Fritos Burrito (once again, what more do you want for a buck?)

for the base whopper? why would anyone pay that for a 1/4 lb burger when there are so many better options available?

The same can be said for pretty much every item on the BK menu.

I might use the flier coupon this month for $1 classic dogs tho

I was mainly surprised that a condiment made it on a list of items.

Had these about two days ago...

Each piece is the size of a totinos pizza roll... a guess is about 20 pieces total. They have a nacho cheese sauce all over them and probably some shredded cheese, as well as small bacon sprinkles.

They gave me a fork with it which I didn't use but I can see why, it's pretty messy to grab with fingers... was meh... wouldn't go out of my way for them again. Finished about 1/3rd of them. Not bad...not great.

I went in for their deep dish pepperoni/cheese bread box deal that sadly isn't a thing anymore.

i ate at panda express tonight. i got the honey cashew shrimp and the general tso's chicken. the shrimp was the best part of the meal, but it should be since i paid an extra $1.25 for it. the chicken was decent, but nothing to write home about. i will be getting the shrimp again but not the chicken again.

Stopped in to McD's a couple nights ago. At this location, a large fry is also on the 2/$5 menu right now, along with the triple cheeseburger, 10 piece nuggs, fish filet, and quarter pounder.

On the menu, they have these 5 items all listed together under the 2/$5 section, and then next to each item they have the price of each item were you to only order 1 of them.

The price of a large fry is listed as $2.29.

the combined price of large fry and any other item is >$5 though.

2for5 doesn't mean 1 for $2.50

Several points.

1. What should I be charged if I order 2 large fries?
2. Your first point is wrong, a triple cheeseburger was priced at $2.59 on this menu. What should I be charged if I order a large fry and a triple cheeseburger?
3. Your last point is obvious and nowhere was I suggesting that each item should be $2.50 individually.

Just,

1. $4.58
2. $4.88

I'd look at it this way: Get 2 of these entree items for $5 (or sub in large fries for one of the entrees).

Correct, but my point from the beginning was since all of these items are lumped into a 2/$5 "deal", I'm certain if I went and made either of these orders they would happily ring them up as 2/$5 and not realize they were overcharging me, and 99% of customers wouldn't realize it either.

Just,

I think we can all safely agree that fast food pricing is often stupid and illogical!

These machines are the nut low. The regular coke comes out tasting fruity in every establishment that has these soda dream machines.

I tried them. The taste wasn't any different to me but I will say that I would feel like complete dog **** the next morning whenever I used to eat McNuggets. I actually felt like a human being the morning after the new ones so take that fwiw.

Lol I was thinking about this - how many ingredients does taco bell actually have? Everything just seems to be a combo of anywhere from 2 (chips and salsa) to like 8 of like twelve at most lol
