Those wings are like crack, and I live fairly close by. They've gotten progressively expensive though. I'd like to take a shot at making these on my own, but I'm sure I'd **** them up somehow.

It's pretty cool that you can win a James Beard award and it somehow involves lolchickenwings.

If I ever become Spielberg rich as a hobby I want to come up with a really legit fried chicken operation.

Had a club sub and Mr Goodcents. Bread was decent but the meat amount was about the same as Subway. Won't be ordering again. Also $5 boxes are back at Popeyes thru May 29th.

Goodcents dominates subway here in Phoenix and it's not even close. My streak of not stepping inside subway is probably at about 3 years now and I hope to extend it until i die

Jimmy John's left a menu and a coupon for a free sub (no purchase required) on my apartment door yesterday and I went in today to collect my free sub. Made my order and was in and out within 2 minutes without spending a penny. Upon some reflection, should I have at least bought a drink or something? The cashier did make a comment with a sense of annoyance along the lines of "just the sub? Are you sure you don't want a drink or chips?" but I can't see why she'd care since it doesn't affect her bottom line how much I order. Looking back i feel like I should have at least gotten a drink.

Did I commit a crime against societies expectations by not spending any money and walking out with a free sub?

Also Ronald's Donuts in Vegas is awesome, and Chinese (I assume? I'm racist?) owned.

Thanks man. This isn't close to me out in Issaquah but if you vouch for them I'll give them a try some weekend morning.

I love how there are two 4 star reviews for the place being cold and then a 3 star review complaining about the people complaining about it being cold. Otherwise he said the donuts are awesome.

Holy crap the story of the owner's escape from Cambodia in the Seattle Times is harrowing.

I don't see a problem with not ordering anything else. I would have tossed a buck in the tip jar though, especially if it's a place I plan on visiting on the regular.

Meh, it's a corporation. Not a mom-and pop-spot. They're just looking for followup repeat business obviously. It's not a 50 cent Wednesday promotion clearly intended for ancillary purchases.

Yea you don't need to order anything else if that were the case it would be a free sub with the purchase of a drink coupon.

I've always thought that in n out more than any others benefits from a plain order. I don't know if they season their meat better of if their cheese tastes just right, but just meat/cheese/bun makes an excellent meal at in n out

That would make them the exact opposite of chipotle.

Name of joint? location? I would like to yelp for reviews and food porn. thanks.
