Popeye's clearly the class of the field these days. KFC had a good run but they're done.
the sheer amount of KFC commercials with the random cast of characters playing the colonel is more than enough evidence that KFC recognizes they are behind in the game and have a lot of catching up to do.

when i was a kid back in the day we'd visit grandpa and grandma for a long weekend at least once a year. grandma would cook almost every dinner, but it was pretty much guaranteed for one of the meals grandma would take the night off and grandpa would fetch kfc. he'd get a bucket with all the sides and i'd ride with him in his chevy pickup to go get it.
that was ~40 years ago and i still remember it like it was yesterday.
such a shame kfc lazily surrendered their throne to other ff places, gas stations, and grocery stores.
