KFC started going downhill in the mid 90's.

Their original recipe is disgusting now since 99% of the time it's too damn greasy and under cooked.

A few seconds in the microwave and it's just right.

Popeye's clearly the class of the field these days. KFC had a good run but they're done.
the sheer amount of KFC commercials with the random cast of characters playing the colonel is more than enough evidence that KFC recognizes they are behind in the game and have a lot of catching up to do.

perhaps you should quit traveling to india and china and sample some of the restaurants available in the US?

when i was a kid back in the day we'd visit grandpa and grandma for a long weekend at least once a year. grandma would cook almost every dinner, but it was pretty much guaranteed for one of the meals grandma would take the night off and grandpa would fetch kfc. he'd get a bucket with all the sides and i'd ride with him in his chevy pickup to go get it.

that was ~40 years ago and i still remember it like it was yesterday.

such a shame kfc lazily surrendered their throne to other ff places, gas stations, and grocery stores.

still better mac and cheese than Popeye's by a mile. I don't have a Church's in my area.

I liked Kenny Rogers' when that was around, don't remember the mac and cheese, just in general - wasn't fried tho.

Think you can substitute that burrito out of that Taco Bell 5$ deal?

heard a radio commercial today stating wendy's is now offering the crispy chicken blt as a sub for the jr bacon cheeseburger in the $4 meal.

I don't know, but it's definitely the weak link.

That and Boston Market leaving has left me bereft of FF roast chicken. Closest thing is El Pollo Loco, which is overpriced.

Original recipe KFC back in the day was great, but there wasn't many other options. And sides that require a fork? That was high class.

Racists,

Black people love chinese places! Indian places, seemingly not so much.

Oh yeah...a lot of blacks go to the popular Chinese restaurant down the street from me.

If I'm reading the Chick-Fil-A tease advertisement correctly, starting in June you'll be able to place your order using the new Chick-Fil-A app.

I haven't downloaded it yet.

"A whole new way to Chick-Fil-A", "First in line" and a new CFA app are the clues.

Is the sketchy Chinese take-out place that also serves subs/burgers/fried chicken/etc. a nationwide phenomena, or mainly a regional (DC/Baltimore) thing?

We have a few of those here in south Texas. They often have pretty good wings at a good price.

In Seattle area there are teriyaki places everywhere. Some specialize in burgers too.
