dined in a WHATABURGER for the first time today

(my second WHATABURGER experience, 1st time was 25 mins after going through the drive thru, so not at 100% freshness, but still excellent)

ordered a double WHATABURGER with cheese, mayo, mustard, tomatoes, pickles and double grilled onions

holy crap, that is a mighty tasty burger!

fries were above average too, and the standard drink cup being a 32oz foam cup was a nice touch as well.

overall, i'm putting WHATABURGER in my highest tier along with in-n-out, fatburger, and chick-fil-a

wound up trying Zaxby's. got a chicken finger plate which came with fries texas toast coleslaw and zaxby sauce which was pretty good although I wish the fingers were a little bigger. Would eat there again, maybe not if really busto as the plate is $6.

I'm excited about and hope to try this Taco Bell breakfast but can't believe they got rid of Baja gordita? Has anyone tried to order a Cheesy Gordita crunch recently and did it still have the Baja sauce?

Zaxby's > Chic-fil-A imo. Best wings I've ever got from a drive thru. Chicken is always awesome and their salads are delicious.

Around here it's "We're featuring our ________ today, please place your order when ready". I don't find it especially annoying, it's actually kind of amusing when going through one of the double drive thru lanes and they're featuring some other item to the guy in the other lane.

The one that bugs the hell out of me is the "would you like to donate $1 to help underprivileged children (or college scholarships, Jerry's kids, whatever)". Wendy's is the worst offender, BK is second, I've never noticed it at McDonalds. I've been asked so many times that I no longer feel like a heel when I answer "not today". jfc, I just want a jbc.

Wawa sometimes has their "Would you like to add a $1 donation for ____?" when I check out. haven't had the harassment at the major fast food places.

Wendy's always asks me "Would you like to try a combo?, as if those are new.

this. There was a zaxbys where i went to school but now I moved away and I still miss it. Is it only a Georgia/ north Florida thing or is it in other states too?

I dont go through drive thrus ever . Weird? is it just me? i dont trust them at all for some reason , or it could be conditioning that my first 19 years of my life i never had a drive thru accessible to me, so when i moved to LA it was kind of foreign to me.

I have gone a couple times, and they always seemed to get something wrong, last year with an ex i succumbed a couple times and went drive thru and it just felt even lazier to not only be getting fast food, but also not even leaving the car.. glad to hear im not the only one.

Only valid reasons to get out of the car at a location that has a drive thru imo:

1) Really long drive thru line.
2) Road trip (strech legs, restroom, etc).
3) Location you know is always a alsdkfj;asdfjafdj pita wrt getting the correct items in the bag.
4) You are 12 and want to do weird things with your soda like mix pepsi/dr pepper.

Possible exception for counter girl is cute and you are 18.
