It's not close to the same.

Popcorn chicken now seems to be small pieces of chicken strips that aren't big enough to make strips so they sell it in bulk. The old style I'm talking about seemed basically like the bottom leftover on the fryer just poured into a box.

Remember those McSalad shakers? I always thought those were extremely convenient and tasty, as it fit perfectly in a cup holder.

Hey McD's 99c side salad is one of my standard orders. Usually share a large fries between the family though.

I remember about 4 or 5 years ago mixing KFC popcorn chicken into their mashed potato bowl they used to do. Crazy, crazy good. These days Whole Foods occasionally has a cup of popcorn chicken that's not bad by their pre made sandwiches.

Mac sauce costs $.30 WTF!!!!

but it basically turns a double cheeseburger into a bigmac for 1.60 so o well.

Should have driven farther and just got wendys and had them add the W sauce on a few jr. cheeseburgers. Probably would have yielded better results since it has something other than pickles and cheese on it.

Tried the Wendy's W last night, mostly based on generally solid reviews in this thread.

My patties were a little dry, but otherwise a pretty solid fast food burger. Toppings were obviously fresh, and the sauce was tasty but not overwhelming or slopping all over.

Probably too expensive to be a go to, IMO, but good.

Swapped the drink in the meal for a small vanilla shake. They make some tasty shakes there.

The W wasn't bad but I definitely prefer the regular "Hot 'n Juicy" burgers. Thicker, juicier patties and I wasn't a huge fan of the W sauce either. As I said earlier in the thread, they're almost Five Guys quality (and less expensive).

With the changes to their burgers and fries over the past year or so, Wendy's is near or at the top of the fast food game, as far as nationwide chains go.

so everytime I go to the wendy's by my house, my order contains "and a 5-piece chicken nuggets with BBQ sauce, please". For the last 6 times in a row, the ****ers have forgotten the BBQ sauce. This time just now, it even said "two BBQ sauces" on the receipt and they still didn't put them in the bag. How justified am I in calling and screaming at the manager to find some people that aren't ****ing idiots? i always now check the bag before i pull away, but ffs...

I don't think it is necessary to scream at anyone, but calling and complaining is perfectly fine. Also you might want to rethink who the idiot is if it took you 6 times to start checking the bag.

went to 5 guys yesterday. i got a bacon burger, drink and split a large fry with a friend. The bill was like $14 (my friend then gave me $2 for the fries).

This was at the mall and the door to the outside kept opening (it was 15 degrees out). All they had to do was hang a sign that read "use mall entrance."

I was not impressed. The burger was good though.
