Fish & chips scenario, malt vinegar a must-have? Going a different route?

Went to Der Wienerschnitzel the other day and I could have sworn they had fish and chips on the menu. But I may have dreamed it.

Carl's is essentially a test market for future Hardee's products. It will come eventually.

yep, that pretty much sums it up.

you get fries or hashbrowns and they don't have meat on them, right? i suggest you start by considering the cheesy bean and rice as a side order that augments your regular meal and see what you think. it's doesn't have to be the foundation of your fast food meal (although it could be when ordered in multiple), but it's a damn tasty compliment. at $1 i also feel much less ripped off than i do spending $1.50 on fries that come from a 5 lb bag that i can buy retail for the same amount.

if you report back with honesty and don't like the experience i will ship you $1+applicable tax via PayPal for your troubles...how's that for a deal? just post a pic of the receipt in the thread and PM me your PP address.

Red,
Next time you get one of those, ask for it grilled. You're welcome in advance.

...I'm just trying start Malucci out with baby steps and see what sort of stride he brings to the race.
He talks a fat game but I want to see him prove it.

Had some BK coupons for a new location, got a Whopper JR, nugs & fries. Ended up being quite tasty. Fries aren't much to speak of, but freshness was on point.

At LJS, was thinking about the beer battered cod and couldn't stay away. So I arrive, am DINING IN, and see the beer battered cod basket is 5.99, but doesn't include drink. The 2pc fish for 5.99 does include drink however, so I order that, add one chicken. After I do that I see a sign that says that you can have what I just ordered plus a goddamn cookie for just $5. I really hate the cashier for not pointing that out.

Edit: chicken not included for $5 obv

Biggie, i appreciate your effort to pretend that you've eaten at this mythical fast food chain (it's very much like petting an albino unicorn).
do you have the creativity to report on their imaginary sides, especially the hushpuppies and onion rings?

Used to eat at LJS all the time with my gma when she was still alive. Crunchy stuff doused with tartar and ketchup.

Hushpuppies were fine. Everything was fine, but I left unsatisfied. They only had tartar sauce in packets, no pump!

Had a Freddy's original double steakburger with cheese this week. This is a pretty worthy contender in the fast burger space, will eat again.

Had Jersey Mike's #13 Original Italian, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Provolone, ham, prosciuttini, cappacuolo, salami and pepperoni, Mike’s Way with onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil blend, red wine vinegar and spices.

It's the best FF chain sub I've ever had. Is there a better FF chain sub of any kind out there? What about FF Italian sub specifically?

I've probably eaten 20+ Triple Double Crunch Wraps this March if you include the days I've doubled down

Still though, I don't understand the logic behind the name. Doesn't the Triple Double imply 6 layers (3x2)?

Yet there are only 3 layers? How can this name be justified?

Why would we count only one crunchwrap on the days where you ate multiple?

double the meat, double the cheese, double the tostada. triple double. this isn't rocket appliances. It's the same naming convention used in sports like when Ice T ****ed around and got a triple double, presumably points, rebounds and assists...(maaaaaybe blocks instead of assists, but he didn't clarify).
