I'm not sure if I mentioned it but the Siege of Jadotville is really decent. I wish netflix would make more of these high quality movies with lesser known actors than these super garbagey tv series with well known names.
incredible true story and great movie, a small band of irish soldiers on a UN peacekeeping mission to the congo get shanghai'd and pretty much abandoned for dead by the powers that be, get besieged by the local warlord outnumbered like 20:1 and they held on and didn't suffer a single casualty. none of them had ever seen combat before.
Regarding Kodi, yes it is illegal from what I can tell. Similar to Napster. I started a thread about Kodi last year in OOT and it was quickly closed by a mod. So we'll see how long it lasts here. For what its worth, I don't talk about it much to friends and colleagues, just because its such the sh*t and I don't want it to go away.
Kodi isn't anything close to napster
It's a media center that was developed for the original Xbox to allow people to watch media since Sony and Microsoft were too dumb to make their console media center. Kodi itself doesn't have any illegal add-on installed. I would be surprised if repository for the stuff posted here are available without individual downloads.
Kodi is a more customisable vlc.

I'm slowly making my way through Frontier... About halfway through and enjoying it so far. It's not a must watch but if you liked Marco Polo or Turn, it's quality equivalent to those imo.
Tried to start watching Twin Peaks recently since it's been recommended to me (or on "similar to" lists or whatever) so many times. Also, to prepare for the new stuff that's apparently coming out. I really don't get the hype. I've given it 3 episodes so far, and it just seems like a weird, slow murder mystery with not a whole lot happening. I don't hate the general vibe of the show, but plotwise I feel like there's just not much happening. Do I need to give it more time or is it just not for me?

Theres a chefs table style series about designers called Abstract. I watched the second epsiode on a nike footwear designer and the last one on the interior designer. Both were interesting. If you like the chefs table style youll probably like this
Lolololol. Can't wait to see how ridiculous this movie is
I watched all but the last 20 minutes of this on my flight out to Vegas in December. I was pretty drunk and thought it was pretty funny. Got back home a few days later and finished the last 20 minutes sober...not as funny and thought it was pretty dumb. Go in with pretty low expectations.

Tinker Hatfield graduated with an architecture degree from Oregon and also was on Bill Bowerman's track team as a pole vaulter. He eventually went to work for Nike in the early 80s and is responsible for the design of almost every edition of air jordan shoes. Sneakerheads believe Tinker is one of the legends of modern shoe design.
