Started Bobs Burgers, but I'm having a hard time reconciling Archer's voice in this character. It's creeping me out, man.

New iOS interface is a nice improvement imo. Looks better, and it's much easier to rewind/ff.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"

watching Serenity after Firefly was such a strange and gratifying experience. Normally shows go downhill but the peak of a legit movie was really cool and unexpected.

I haven seen too much sci-fi stuff except for the X files which I am currently rewatching.

Where should i start: serenity, firefly, battle star something, etc?

Well, Serenity is like a series finale for Firefly so don't watch that first. Imo, Firefly >>>>>>>>>> Battlestar Galactica.

Cruel-intentions not lust inspiring? How does step-sister ****ing not fit that bill?

My other favorite MOH's are Jenifer and Cigarette Burns.
Interesting show, I think it was written by a student at The Kurosawa Film school after watching Rashômon and Alien during an LSD bender.

yeah I'm not a huge sci fi guy at all, but I was an X Files fan back in the day so I was in a similar boat. I gave Firefly a try only because it had such a cult following, and i didn't even know about Serenity until half way through the season. The show is really interesting because you keep thinking it is going to get too campy then it kind of pulls you back with some weird/quirky/unexpected event or line. By the end of the season you'll really be used to it and then Serenity is pretty much the perfect finale.

On a separate note has anyone watched Terriers? Someone recommended it to me and I just finished the first and only season and I really liked it. It's too bad these shows get cancelled, i had never even heard of it but its better than a lot of the other FX shows imo.

Floored is really good. documentary on the traders that still operate on the Chicago exchange, only about 10% of them left. The similarities between traders and pro poker players are astounding.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"

Firefly is only like 14 episodes and then the 2 hour Serenity, you will be able to go through that real fast. BSG is like 70 episodes so it takes a lot longer to watch.
