Havent watched yet but its next in my queue...
Rubber- http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/Ru...?trkid=2361637
"Quentin Dupieux directs this inventive twist on low-rent revenge flicks, which follows a car tire named Robert that rolls through the desert Southwest using its strange psychic powers to blow up birds, bunnies, human beings and more. But when Robert spies a gorgeous woman motoring down the highway, he decides to follow her and take a chance on love. This gleefully over-the-top black comedy stars Stephen Spinella and Roxanne Mesquida."
Yes it is what is says.

it's kind of a postmodern satire of horror films, i guess. somewhere between evil dead and the toxic avenger. i'm guessing you will either be intrigued or appalled within the first ten minutes, but the bf and i gave it 4 stars.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"
Just started watching Walking Dead
Decent, mindless entertainment so far. I'm fine with no depth in Zombie Apocalypse movies... but I can't imagine watching an entire TV series where it's completely shallow.
Does the series get better or worse after Ep 6?

All I needed to see was one billboard advertisement of it somewhere to think it looked terrible. Thanks for affirming.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"
My gf convinced me to watch a doc entitled "A State of Mind" about two North Korean rhythmic gymnasts who are practicing to compete in the Mass Games last night. I had low hopes when I learned that it was focused on rhythmic gymnasts, but like all things N. Korea it's crazy enough that I couldn't stop watching it.
With that said, if you just want to watch something on North Korea, I'd go with the Vice Guide to North Korea which is also on Netflix, is shorter, shows you more of the country (but fewer actual North Koreans in great detail) and involves no rhythmic gymnastics.

Is it even worth getting in to then? I'm a big zombie movie guy, but I've heard from a couple people including you that The Walking Dead just gets worse as it progresses.

If you are ok with not finishing something, watch the first two episodes, and then stop. Possibly watch episode three, but after that the show is entirely worthless.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"
It was a disappointment to me as well. I love Frank Darabont, and the first two episodes were really really really good. It just fell off a cliff after that.

I also recommend this to everyone. Pretty good film. It's disturbing how corrupt parts of our government are.

Re: Netflix "Watch Instantly"
fwiw i devoured all 6 episodes of _the walking dead_ on friday night and thought all were good.
unless S2 walks off some kind of _heroes_-esque cliff, you guys remind me of this:
"hey mitch, you want an apple?"
"naw, eventually it will be a core!"
